Compassionate? That’s a pretty strong word. But, Well ok. If they wanted the change, cool. But a lot of these are what other people want. Just sayin’. But son is very sweet, if that’s what she wanted. However, I CAN say from experience, the freedom of shorter hair is amazing.

Wow! That even made ME cry and I don't even know the woman! Hearing her talk about her confidence problems is relatable by many, I'm sure. She shouldn't have a problem finding a date but I dont think she looked bad before, either.

100% better. Her previous look was old, frumpy, and screamed “I don’t know how to dress or wear my hair, so I just won’t even try”.

I don't know how anyone can think she looked better before!!! After your hair reaches a certain length and you reach a certain age it does nothing for you but drag your features down!!!

She does look great, but bare legs? No. And sleeveless dress? No. That dress (in spite of the horizontal ruffles) would look more stunning with 3/4 sleeves which go down to her elbows.

My hair was to my waist so I had a few inches it off and have regretted it ever since . So I’m going to be 67 and I won’t ever have my hair cut again . It’s like a warm blanket in the winter and I am very attached to it lol

Why go so drastic, just the up your hair, braid it, bun it, ponytail...A woman's beauty is her hair. This is a hairdressers delight chopping of long hair

I can only image now what all the “oh clothes blah blah, hair blah blah” are thinking now after the big bad. When people discovered hey. Yeah, doesn’t matter, eh? She’s never going to keep it up, and those things are so meaningless. I’ll be willing to bet, it might not be AS long, but it’s never seen a blow dryer since then.

Me included, why do women keep long hair and choose to look so unkempt? I'm surprised she didn't try to arrive at show with at least a blouse instead of her yard look.
