It’s amazing how good Resolve is with color grading especially compared to Final Cut for me, even just the free version of Resolve lol one of the things that’s great with your work is how clean and realistic things look, I need to still work my color grading toward a more subtle balanced look at times lol 😄 I appreciate people like you that have such quality advice and are willing to share it man keep it up! 🙏

You are 100% that Resolve is amazing, especially for color grading. I just want to point out though that you can do everything Blase showed in this video with Final Cut’s built in tools. Resolve is way more robust overall, but FCPX has a lot to offer in its in own right, and these techniques are not unique to Davinci 👍

@@jordanshipley448 that's true lol I really like the HDR wheels and how you can transform to cineon and it has some built in Kodak looks to go with it, I started with Final Cut but sometimes I get frustrated with how it seems like it's not being updated or supported like it should be, it's falling behind in some ways, like it finally has roto features but that's because MotionVFX made it and sells it only via subscription, etc. Just wish Final Cut would step it back up :/ ironically it feels like Resolve runs better on my M2 Air than Final Cut sometimes lol

I have only used Davinci Resolve. It's what I learned on. Thank you for this tutorial. It breaks it down in a very simple way for the ones who don't get to do this that often. Highly appreciated. Keep bringing this wonderful content. It is extremely valuable. I have made a couple of ads for my products and work and it has been hard to get clients... Can you do a video on your process of attaining the clients you work with?

Thanks so much. Glad you found it helpful! Would love to make some more business focused videos at some point. Relationships and sharing your work online I think would be the two pieces of immediate advice I could give! For most of my work, it has been a pretty simple but patient process of: do your best making a video, share it online, repeat. From there most of my clients I have met through word of mouth or friends of friends.
