love how you explained its benefits but also its drawbacks for certain types of grips. the examples u gave with a pencil and violin bow were good

Hi Cebbax, appreciate the video. Very thorough but straight to the point. Did you try out claw mate on your wlmouse?:) Got Beast X mini and interested in trying it out, but hesitant considering the gaps.

Yep I've tried it on both the BeastX Mini and ULX when I first got the clawmate. The thicker tape holds surprisingly well on mice with cut outs, no problems with the grips moving around or sliding off even when I deliberately tried putting a lot of force on it. I personally didn't find clawing the ultralight shape enjoyable though so I swapped them onto the sora and op1 instead

I'm about to get the SoSpacer Shape Shift as they're similar to these but rounded. I recently got the finalmouse ULX cheetah and I am 19x10cm so the back is quite narrow for my thumb.

Quite interested in getting those too! They remind me a lot of the nitro factory mods but more versatile

I have this grip on the Pulsar Xlite v2 and it has buffed my aiming miles ahead, holding the mouse like that make its fell like an integral part of your arm. Sweat does loosen the grip but super glue holds good with the thick gorilla tape. It is better to use the gorilla tape as it gives the grip a little elevation which makes it even more viable. My grip style is a Hybrid palm claw with this mouse

The newer batches don't use gorilla tape anymore, instead they give you vhb 3m tapes which are better imo. I also let it set in place for a day before using it but I'm not sure if it adds any extra hold but so far mine haven't moved yet or at least enough for me to notice a difference

I'm going to pass. The shape of the Viper V2 with the deep grooves on both sides gives me a pretty locked in feeling. Great video though man I enjoyed it.

I get that some will like this but i think the bigger issue is the mouse shape. Finding the perfect shape of a mouse is legit the best feeling

100% agree with you. The shape is the most important factor when choosing a mouse. Any external things that you do to the mice are more of a bonus

I tried these for a while and I actually liked them, but i think the tape was the biggest downfall. the thin tape (that i thought was supposed to be the more permanent tape) just didn't hold well and they kept falling off, and the thick tape, while it held better, still didn't hold great, and the tape would squish around the edge after a while and feel awkward to hold. I took them off for now, but may play with them more in the future. IDK if anyone knows any better adhesive to try.

The vhb 3m tapes holds up quite well compared to the gorilla tape older batches were using

The trick is to use the thicker tape and then super glue the plastic to the thicker tape. It hardens the tape and sticks it permnanent, and I have super sweaty hands.

@@rohitp5023 yeah that's something I considered, but the gorilla tape itself started falling apart and making a bit of a mess. I may get some new tape and also try super glue

idk man, i just don't need to grip my mouse that tight. i lightly hold it. the coating is good enough.

bought these and they're so not a game changer, they just stick out and kinda get in the way. and let me tell you about them falling off. All the time with the falling off and god forbid you want to change them a bt or change the angle theyre garbage

when did you buy them btw? The thicker tape was changed and it now doesn't move unless I pull on them directly. The thinner tape is still the same though and I've heard negative reviews about those. Too bad I couldn't try that out cause the film couldn't even be removed. I also let them set for a day so I guess that made a difference? In regards to the shape sticking out, pretty sure thats what struth gaming wants to do as it changes the way your fingers are placed. They're definitely not for me because I do like putting pressure on the side but the concept is not bad
