It is because of troxler's fading. If you focus on one thing, everything else will distort or fade away. Similarly, there are a lot of hypnotism combined in this video. The more you focus in the center, the more deeper hypnotism you will get into. Another example of troxler's fading is seeing monsters or ghosts like bloody mary in mirror. If you stare at the mirror for too long, your face will distort and slowly fade away. Then the brain will be too bored that it will try to create imaginations even if you do not want to see them. Since everything else became lesser realistic, you will think that the imaginations are real and get scared.

@@seanjoefen8566 yes my recent trip was a rather small dosage (2g) but the feeling, the inner core of my body communicating to me just brought me to tears as well as my emotions having their highs and lows throughout the trip. psilocybin isn’t always a visual drugs like people think. if anything even when i take 5gs+ what stands out the most is my whole world and atmosphere flipping in the matter of an hour or two

The emotions and the thoughts that make me feel those emotions. God, in my very first trip I lost my sense of reality and the whole trip was about thoughts figuring out whatever is happening around me is real or not because this way I could have been able find out how much sense of reality I lost and how much I'm being able to think rational. Although when you can control your thoughts and they are just jumping back and forth and you are also hallucinating you already have some doubt. But when nothing makes sense the panic comes and the trip is just getting worse and worse.

I was spiked with acid once. I started off being an absolute comedian and thought I was the funniest person ever. At that point I still didn’t know, but then as we were laughing, all of a sudden the laughing slowed right down and sounded really deep and evil. I wondered what the hell was going on. Thought we had all been possessed or I’d entered some sort of nightmare. Then I saw shadow people everywhere, lost concept of time (some things felt sped up and others slowed down). Then I started throwing up and a bit of clarity came over me and I realised I’d been spiked with something. The whole time I thought I had dreadlocks for some reason (I had straight blonde hair) and kept seeing reams of newspapers being printed really fast every time I closed my eyes. Managed to get some orange juice in me, which helped, but my brain was sore for days lol

I have no idea how much I’d had and can’t be completely certain it was acid, but I’d tired mushrooms a couple of times before that and this was far more intense. Never went back to that place again. @@LG-Musique That sounds like acid. I know shrooms too and I didn't feel as "overwhelmed", those feel more like nature is quietly breathing and you're connected, if that makes sense. Acid can make a horror trip real fast. I overall felt good, everything was more fun, looked swirly and I felt way more social and loving. Like I knew just everything, a strong feeling of clarity and inner peace. For me it wasn't a surprise and even tho it haven't started to feel different right after taking it, it felt like something was about to happen. You can get crazy visuals. Eg we were near a lake and the dragon flys seemed to grow bigger each time they flew past us, like 1meter long (we fleed because they got really interested in us 😂). My bf looked like a weird modern painting, his nose (that looked like a crow beak) and mouth were at the side of his face and he was overall green and purple and lots of swirls on his skin. Colors were stronger, music was amazing. My inner clock didn't work either (some things felt like they slowed down while others felt so fast - clouds or trees were moving really fast while time itself seemed really slow overall) and I had a hard time measuring distance because everything looked distorted (every time I looked on my phone to check the time I needed a few seconds because it always looked like it was curved and you could put your hand inside like a bag). For a long time I felt like I could watch myself in 3rd person (not like actually seeing it but seeing it in your head - normal & 3rd person) + wide angle (I had a music box in my backpack and it was amazing walking over fields, looking down on the city, felt the music in me and all around :D) and in the dark bushes looked like dancing pink comic elephants lol. I also had a 3D effect (those blue/red effects) for a short time with it. But it can also change really fast. We made a stop at home and I suddenly started to see smoke coming from under the doors or walls being all black and open like space and it felt like a monster would come and get me the next moment. Needed a sec to remind me nothing is happening, its all in my head and everything is fine. I can imagine being at a location you're unfamiliar with can be quite overwhelming, especially if others dressed.. interesting to say the least. I also wouldn't take it to party with strangers around me but outside in nature. :D I can get throwing up too, especially if it was a high dosage you had, personally I didn't had to but I didn't eat throughout the trip (made sure to eat especially healthy the day before and after) and I had a hard time drinking. It felt "forced" but I was sweating more than normally, it were mostly really warm days outside and I actually calculated beforehand how much water I should drink over the day, so I knew I had to drink. My visuals were also seemingly kinda "strong". I had the same amount as the others (as far as someone can measure it) but since I'm female and only like 5'3 and all others were male over +6ft I had to have a higher dosage compared to them to actually see all this extra trippy stuff. It was fun tho. Drinking juice was a good choice btw, especially after throwing up! :) Another good thing to do (if it gets to much), is trying to sleep it off. It can be hard falling asleep. I always saw color explosions when closing my eyes but it'll help if you can push through it. I didn't feel really sore after (maybe kinda.. empty?), but more like a clarity for a few days up to a few weeks but I also hadn't had a bad trip, only like a few moments that were kinda scary feeling which I could handle. I guess actually planning something like that will help a ton and won't make you feel bad/sore after. :D I also experienced flashbacks. Not like full on hallucinations but just feeling kinda "off" for a few minutes while just walking. The airy feeling of peace. The only time I'd say it was kinda similar was after smoking weed (I had the same wide angle + 3D effect). I had... lemon haze? if I remember correctly. It certaintly didn't feel like acid but it looked pretty similar in visuals (not as strong tho)

The visuals you get after looking away are very much like acid and other psychedelics. It's a good way to get a feel for what the visuals are like but there's no way to prepare for the inner feeling that psychedelics give you.

For me (the actual thing not this video) it felt like yk how you focus on one thing everything else gets blurry, but I actually had to hold a conversation with someone and it felt like everything around them was surrounding me, like I was staring at everything all at once and they’re words were all jumbled together, tip of advice if your gonna do shrooms or anything like that do it in an area where you feel safe, the paranoia is intense
