That's the difference between stereo vs binaural. Stereo has 2 channels, but you cannot tell the difference between front/back, up/below etc. Binaural can provide this information thanks to the mics being in fake/real ears.

No, not really. Perfect quality would be to have microphones positioned in the ear canals of an artifical head made of a substance that conducts sound similar to flesh. The way this was recorded, it makes all the sound seem like it's behind me, never in front.

I wish every asmr channel had your level of audio recording knowledge. There’s so many channels that have expensive audio recording equipment but little understanding on how to truly utilize it. I think it's less the equipment, though the quality of the pics surely makes a difference, and more the knowledge of sound design and the according programs like protools and so on. You can do insane shit with it, but only if you have the know-how. And money.

Goddamn. The audio for the scissors and the razors felt SO real, that even my shoulders and the area around it began to feel tingles. I'm the kind of person to get paranoid when sharp blades from haircuts get near my skin. This created an ABSOLUTELY brilliant effect that feels so similar, that I even felt nervous and a bit scared at the razor part. Incredible work!

Wow the ending made me open my eyes soooo fast. The video was incredible tho, the amount of tingles is astonishing as always 👍

Scary warning from 5:27 - 5:35 !! If you're using headphones and your volume is high you might get a very scary and creepy tingle during this duration. I was listening to this around 3:30 am and got really scared for a long time after hearing this sudden trigger and I needed almost 15 mins to relax and calm down myself. Overall this asmr video is the best video I have ever watched and the sound quality is so real that if you close your eyes you'll feel like you're really having a haircut in a barbar's shop.
