I feel like this communication along with a community discord really helps some of the viewers I have to stick with me regardless of which type of content I create. This is one of the most innovative ideas, and it can be put into practice immediately. I just posted a poll on my channel. Let's see how it goes. One interesting thing happened. When I reached 1000 subscribers, I got a lot more engagement on my community tab. But it starts with providing short, useful tidbits. Or even asking questions that the audience feels compelled to answer. Note: Many people love to give their opinion or tell their experience. Any question that asks for opinions or encourages viewers to share their experience gets the most engagement, IMO.

if you're a small channel (which you are) it will indeed show up to a handful of existing subscribers and if you're lucky maybe 2 or 3 non-subscribers (literally: 2 or 3, not 2k, just 2!). So definitely use the community tab, it's low effort and you still might reach a few new people... But don't expect it to be more than a handful.

That's really interesting. I've observed that on my larger channels (300k and 1M subscribers), the community tab posts are mainly shown to my existing audience. However, on two of my newer channels, the community posts seem to reach a broader, new audience. 🤯 Great tip!!

I truly feel your pain. And it's beyond frustrating to the point of almost devastating. I had spent nearly a year getting the ball rolling and I was just starting to get consistent subscribers, and my impressions for my videos were getting up around 20,000. I felt like I was doing thing right. Then just one day....BOOM...nothing. It all dried up. My impressions for videos now only get up in the 100's. Lucky to get 1 subscriber every couple of weeks now. I have never felt so much like a failure, and like I was not invited to the club. But all we can do is learn, and keep pushing forward and never give up. You got this and just keep adapting and never give up!

Yeah, no... With very few exceptions community posts on small channels might reach 10-20 people max. It will not result in any useful information nor new subs... It's low effort, so it's a no-brainer to use it. Bu invaluable? Nah, it's kinda worthless to small channels.

This is only something that would work for semi established channels. If you have an extremely small channel this isnt going to cause a dramatic change for you. If you're small to begin with noone is going to find your community posts.

Hi, I understand your point though not necessarily as Community Posts don’t just get shown to Your Subscribers anymore. You might not get many Subs directly from Posts though they can help people to find Your Channel. Building a Community is the best way to grow a channel. Posts can be a bit trial & error in my experience as to what works for a Channel. I haven’t tried Image Polls (or GIF Polls) yet though I will soon. I don’t use AI Coach as I have my own ideas, theme days, etc (not trends). Good Luck with Your KZread Journey. Best Wishes, Amanda 🙂

I am here thinking I was the only one. I posted on the community post and notbing. I will try this today and see if I get anything lol. With the so called image post. I have close to 5k subs engagement are little to known and votes are not there. At least I am not the only one struggling with this but hey don't give up all us channel will grow it's only a matter of time

This is actually quite interesting, I was of the belief that I shouldn't mess with the community tab yet. Since I only have 12 subscribers at the moment it felt like that tab was something to only be touched on at 500, 1000, maybe even a bit later. Though I am definitely curious now to see if that tab will have major impact even this early on for me in YT

I’m right at the start of my journey and I’ve gotta say this is so helpful thanks for taking the time to make the videos ^_^ for me it’s all about keeping it fun and finding other enthusiasts so I think the community posting is a brilliant idea looking forward to trying it.

Hi, I’m sorry you’re not getting engagement, if Polls don’t work, you could try other types of Community Posts to connect with your audience? I understand it can feel discouraging, however it takes time to Build a Community, though since KZread recently moved Community Posts to their own Tab Feed on some devices - posts get shown to more people, not just Your Subscribers. My channel is faceless because my fave artists are the face, so I mainly post photos of them with a message / news / update from Me (I don’t use AI Coach as I have my own ideas). I tried posting a GIF recently (not a poll) & this was popular, it’s a bit trial & error as to what works though I highly recommend Community Posts esp. in-between uploads. I usually post 3/4 times a week & I have some theme days relevant to my channel (Not Trends), eg. Today = MORTEN MONDAY (Morten Harket) 🥰 I translate my posts into different languages as I’ve received an increase of comments in various languages, though it depends what’s relevant to Your Channel. To be honest I always think I am not good at this engagement game, since in real life I am a bit different and here social media and KZread is really draining me. I have not found out yet, how to do it correctly. Or maybe since I am a science channel, trying to cover medical topics, it is in general not really easy to get some audience. I appreciate your time and your suggestions. I think I need to be more patient, when it comes with KZread. I am honest, I thought posting some videos with reliable information, might attrackt immediately people but I was really wrong. The other issue that I have is posting and making videos. Since I am working full time as a scientist (wet lab), there is not really a lot of time afterwards, when your energy levels are already down. So I really don't know how to tackle this. Thanks again for your help! I truely appreciate it! I wish you all the best for your channel as well!

In my experience the community tab is useless. At best I get a couple of likes on a post. I cant tell if people are seeing the content or not because KZread doesn't offer any analytics for it.

I do many of those things, but I often discover they don't translate to what I really want which are more views! I have about 16,000 subs, but sometimes I put a new video out and it gets less than 1000 views. My analytics shows they are well liked, but often driven through external traffic not YT recommended.
