Leatherman multi tools are awsome you will love it I bought mine when they were 100 bucks at Lebanon no longer in business keep doing what your doing glad grizz is loving it again.

I've learned to never go off the MH direction when it comes to adding their water amount. If directions say use one cup of water, use 3/4 cup you can always add if needed. Thank you for sharing such peaceful, beautiful country with us.

I also have found that to be true. MH always has you add to much.

Last year my friend sprained her ankle on some rocks during a portage out in the middle of Algonquin. So glad it wasnt worse, she took it like a champ and finished out an epic girl's trip camping on an tiny island 🏕 🏞 Been out on the kayak a couple times this year out in tobermory and my area a bit (which near high falls actually) 😋 but I definitely want to go back to Algonquin very soon it's just so incredible there 🛶 Happy adventures and stay safe 🖖

Thanks for sharing this adventure. It's not often we get to see women roughing it and enjoying the outdoors. You just inspired me to get outdoor more. Living in the City can really stress you out. I just have to figure out how to do this with my 11 yr son who loves staying home playing video games. Our little dog would surely enjoy the adventure. It will be hard though trying to find a beautiful place like you did up in Canada. I think I'll watch more of your videos from the very beginning to better prepare myself.

Canoe is probably 25lbs. Looks more like a Pack boat though

You might want to check out the Zoleo satellite messaging system when you are out of cellphone range. They are about half the cost of the the Garmin InReach. I bought one a couple months ago from Cabela's and used it to stay in contact with my wife & daughter on a recent overnight camping trip with my son-in-law and 2 grandchildren. It is easy to use & worked flawlessly.

A tip I do is keep a few bottles of insect repellent in either the back seat pockets or in the door of the truck for those just in case times

I have always been knowing you to be tough and outdoors and with Grizzer. But it was so lonesome when he was down. Now, Griz is back to being way more normal. So good to see you two out and about. Weird Lexy??? In the years I have been following you I never thought you were weird. I have an old Leatherman I keep in the door pocket of my Pickup also! I have a few scattered around. Great video, of course. I hope you didn't hurt yourself from the fall. Sometimes it takes a day to show up. You have such beautiful country to explore. Living in Florida I am jealous. I am amazed when I see water rushing like, from the falls, and parts of the country are completely drying up. "That's weird". :O) Thanks for the vid. Lookin forward to the next. I consider myself to have some decent upper body strength (sailing helps) but there is no way in hell I could ever carry my canoe on my shoulders. You get major props! Glad you didn't seriously hurt yourself! It could have been SO much worse (what if you hit your head!!) Gorgeous area you hiked in! Congrats on the colab with the brewery!

A Canoe has a centered yoke, which balances it on your shoulders. That canoe probably weighs less than 25 pounds.

Not only carrying her canoe but also a pack full of gear and food. However it's not quite as hard as it looks but true you must be in shape. Mostly leg work.
