This wild elephant was found with a wound in his leg due to a cable trap. Fortunately, this elephant was spotted by the wildlife authorities. Officers prepared to engage this elephant as it started to move away. Then veterinary doctor decided what medicines and vitamins should it be given to strengthen it. After sedating, the elephant was given all necessary medicines and vitamins. This treatment was given so that the elephant can be strong enough for cleaning it wounds by the officers next time. The animal completely recovered as a result of the rescue team working very hard long hours.

Could you make a video with photos/footage of each of the team members giving their name & the job they’re doing? It’s great there seems to be some volunteers helping the team today! At least they’re quiet & not armed with those awful cracker guns! Brilliant story today; love it! Fabulous job. What happened to the dear vet who was caught by an elephant while recovering from anaesthetic…… he was speared twice by a tusk & went to hospital. I thought I recognised his voice today from behind the camera? Perhaps I’m wrong? Blessings to all. You have healing hands! xx

In Sri Lanka, they take lot of care to save an injured ELEPHANT, nobody is bothered about such things to n India and they allow the poor ELEPHANTS to DIE inspite of better RESOURCES with the Forest Staff.
