Cold Shoulder ftw. And a VATS build seems necessary for shotguns, switching and crippling limbs in fast succession and hitting critical. Its fun for mobs but u gotta be in their face, hence the beef when commandos and heavy on3 shot everything from range

I was going to cave and switch to a bloodied build with ticket to revenge, but for now I'll continue on my full health build.

@Tai-Rex It took a lot to make me want to switch to bloodied. Found a B50C25 Fixer in a vendor for 25,000 caps! I sighed after buying it. Took me about a week to come up with a full set of Unyielding armor but I basically let the game decide it for me. My luck in vendors has been quite ridiculous to say the least. Have found around 4-5 trade only weapons including a Q50C15 Railway. If only that luck would could come through with my own legendary rolls. Best I ever did was a QE90 Railway but sadly i rerolled it by accident. I have learned a lot of really hard lessons in this game.

I saw the word nerf and that weapon, so I clicked instantly😢

They really need to buff other legendary effects, add new one and add a new tier (maybe make that tier just all elemental dmg addition based on a % of the weapons base dmg just a suggestion of course) i just find it absurd how few legendary effects are op or worth while vs how many are so utterly useless and at best very situational and also some legendary effects placement in some tiers like some of the lvl 3 one is baffling why they’re in that tier when they’re more of 2 or 1 tier, they should just add the other tiers levels and some of these effect to more appropriate tier ratings they really actually belong in untill hitting a good placement for all current effect and new one whenever they decide to do them im kinda shocked after all time they haven’t add the other legendary tiers or at least one of them at least

My wife said she thinks, and I agree, that the piece they put about it working with the future pieces of the system or however they worded it is because they are preparing us for a new wave of build styles with the Goul and other things they are adding and pulling away from bloodied

I feel bad for those who were excited for it but I’m not a bloody build user, at least not now who knows what the future holds, so it doesn’t bother me at all. Also I just got a top tier railway today (quad/explosive/25%vats) and am looking forward to using my new toy.

And also those among the community that misses out on unyielding bonus, having higher int gives you more exp. And bloodied is tanky, that it's much better than full hp. But you do you, if you want to go slow with getting to rank 100, that's all on you. Personally I got to rank in 2-3 days.

I did an event with 5 people perched on top a structure vats auto aiming railway rifles, did not see a single enemy and all the legendary mobs died outside lootable range so no one got anything. Riveting game play, so much fun.

But it also got all the VATS buffs removed as well so it's pretty much just double cap with furious and fast shooting so even if bloodied was still on, it still wouldn't be worth using compared to god roll. Lightweight might as well be a blank buff since it practically does nothing but weight reduction

@@Average1212 I'm not talking about actually equal to a god roll, I'm referring to compared to farming a god roll which is extremely expensive just to roll a random god roll let alone the god roll you want. It would've been fine if it was any other 3 star roll than lightweight, then this wouldn't even be a debate and I would have no real argument over it. Unless you can get the paint from the weapon itself, it's not worth trying to obtain other than for farming scrip if even that

I swear non bloodied users are so insufferable😂 no one cares you don’t play bloodied. This is an L across the board as no full health build is using this weapon either. At least if they left it how it was, people would use it. Now it’s just gonna be scrip for majority of the fan base, besides maybe some chuds who don’t have good weapons yet.

Bloody is literally an end game build. No other build remotely has special stats boosted in the same manner. It’s not really catering, but Bethesda’s inability to make other builds also have their own unyielding effect…

@@JohnB-mo4kq faster fire rate + faster reload does more dmg in a Boss kill then Explo bullets, and like stated above, yes it dosnt need faster fire rate in a Allday situation, because the Target is dead after a few spikes. But i think a furios faster fire rate RR will do great in a Bosskill situation especially if you dont need to be a special build, and can reliably get it from a quest....thats why i said its a buff, its a buff for the Players as a whole not Bloodied end game Players doing speed runs on Bossk ills

this is for the better, they should not lean into bloodied and make the one rifle to rule them all.

I think of this as a buff instead of a nerf. Furious and Rapid is a huge bonus, lightweight is a bad choice. I would've preferred ap reduction or faster reload speed since it still has a small mag size

The quad explosive and being able to swith to the ticket to revenge is a nice combo. They don't want us having to much fun. It's still a fun weapon to shoot. They better not nerf my quad explosive. I'll zap out. Lol

I’ve noticed that even the boss event has really mediocre event loot. The new area and lore seems interesting, but new stuff gained is kinda meh.

I am genuinely glad they changed basically best fitting effects from weapon that is already generally most used all around, what is point of rerolling or legendary farming/trading, if people get best OP things from guaranteed events, they should make maybe god legendary effect sets on weapons none uses otherwise, not on ones you meet on every event already anyway, especially if it still has that 2x clip on top of everything, I don think it will be as useless as people complain around, only issue I got actually is, why cant be things as that rerolled, as far I know none new unique weapon can be rerolled, while unique/event weapons of past can if I remember correctly, only crafted unique weapons couldnt be rerolled, it should be possible to reroll, I guess

Just got it today and been running with it. Not too bad honestly, still steam rolling enemies with it as full health build. Wish the skins could be applied to other weapons though and not stuck on mediocre named variants.

Still gonna do little bit more dmg than quad... But most non boss enemies die in like 1-2 shots anyway, with crit it can oneshot. Furious turn it into boss weapon since single high health target.

Kinda saw that one comming, honestly its kinda sad but fully understandable. I will still usw my Normal bloodied RR those 10 extra rounds dont bother me too much. Maybe someday we will get a Clip mod for the RR that will let us load 20 rounds instead of 10 who knows im happy with my normal 10 clip bloodied RR :D

Now Ima go off the cuff here with speculation. Bloody and Unyielding are getting a rework. Why you may ask? Simply put, the Ghoul class is the culprit. In that update is has been confirmed that we are getting 35 or so Ghoul specific perk cards. Then on this PTS we heavily discussed balance changes. Now we know that Bloodied and Unyielding is overtuned. In no MMO outside of this one u should be able tonsolo a world boss. Now knowing the trend the devs follow, I doubt that the nee Ghoul specific perks and effects will be as overtuned as what we have right now. This means that in order for the Ghoul class to be a viable option for players, non-bloody playstyles need to be as good as bloodied ones. Theres 2 trains of though here. 1. Non-bloody effects need to be buffed to oblivion. 2. Bloodied and Unyileding need to be reworked with different but similar effects to curve the power level. We are gonna over the assumption that the second option is the option thats mostly preffered by the devs. You can tell by the wording they used in the most recent announcement: "the team has made some changes to the weapon to make sure it's in a healthy spot for future systems that will be added to the game. " This wording implies that the bloodied effect, will be getting a rework. This can also extend to Unyielding, since they go hand in hand, but this one is more speculation than the first.

Can u do an endgame bloodied commando build video? And/or one with the railway rifle?

I was hoping this would have replaced my q2525 railway but I don't think so at this point

I dont play blooded builds. Hopefully their a build that might make it work.

Wonderful news finally!!! This HAD to be done. Never should have been in the PTS in the first place. Now they need to nerf Vats critical damage overriding Boss damage negation. Vats critical needs a serious rework!!!!!

Well my reasoning is this , my quads are explosive , faster f rate and crit . Now shouldn't the furious add more damage per shot and with the faster fire rate it should wreck mobs and tanker enemies .

and there is nothing in the patch notes about any changes to the Railway

I'm actually not upset about the nerf even as a bloodied commando player, but I was really looking forward to the skin on the weapon because the default one looks awful. I just have to hope that they put one in the atom shop now, assuming there won't be one in the new season. Just disappointment after disappointment.

The only good skin was the Hollywood one. Shame I switched systems, as now I lost that skin forever…

I don’t play a bloodied build so it doesn’t affect me…but I can see why they may have not wanted to have a quest reward that only benefits one play style. Having said that, this move by Bethesda shouldn’t come as a surprise to anyone familiar with their products.

How long does it normally take y’all to get the automatic receiver for the railway rifle? I had to have scrapped like 30 of them by now.

You can't get the auto piston from scrapping. You have to get it from vendors. Try the WS mall ;)

You should be able to find the plan at one of the vendors in the Mall or Station. That's where I found mine.

Let’s be honest this isn’t news. EVERY fo76 KZreadr hyped up this groll weapon of course it’s gonna get nerfed.

It was gonna be a fun weapon so of course they changed it! Yes people will use it but anyone with a half decent quad will stick to the quad because the dps won’t be anywhere near it where as the old version of this would have been a competitor to the quad

Was looking forward to give RR another go but guess I'll stick with my Cremator/Holy Fire combo. I do have a Quad RR but hardly use it anymore as the splash damage of Cremator makes everything so easy, I cant be bothered to actually aim anymore...spoiled to the core :)

it would have been a very funweapon but it also would make rolling railways pretty much useless to a lot of players i suppose unless you are sweating real hard towards a specific roll most players would take this instead and be happy so while i am sad i cant get my hands on it in its past form i think it was a needed change to not disrupt the game to heavily. else the meta would have been get level 50, get this gun and then do everything else (roughly)

Been pondering making a railway build and pre nerf I was going to do it. Not really but hurt about but I think I’ll pass till a later date now. Railway would just be too much weight in my already full stash and inventory.

Thank goodness they fixed it. Ticket to revenge was to op. I know pvp not big in 76 and the way ttr was it was going to make pvp only about the ttr.

As a commando player this actually makes me happy. The Railway Rifle is obnoxious to me. I prefer my fixer with the random mods I got and my custom hand made with custom legendary mods. I just really despise the Railway Rifle since FO4.

Honestly I don’t understand why the railway rifle is so good. Like I run a commando build and carry a handmade (because I like it) and a railway. In VATS, the auto railway rifle is just broken. It kills so fast and I am always gaining ammo as I kill. The only downside is out of VATS the recoil is just bonkers and projectile speed is so low. But to compare to a handmade on the same build. The handmade comparatively sucks, it burns through ammo and I have to continuously craft it to refill ammo reserves. The only benefit is that I can actually do damage consistently outside of vats. To be fair the railway rifle I have is an aristocrat one and the handmade is not but. Still. It’s almost like there’s no point in carrying any other gun except the railway rifle.

I don't use VATS, so doesn't really bother me if they nerfed it. Ammo for it is hard to come by.

My QE railway is still my fave, I don't use it much because of the weight of spikes. Furious isn't that bad after they returned it to normal. It'll still be good even without two shot.

I think third star should have been faster reload. Given the first star nerf that would have been a pretty nice little pew. I use a quad +50 VATS as a daily driver and it's great.

Once upon a time ( 5yrs ago )the Railgun was cool... I was one of the very few that was using it as a main weapon. Now with a dozen or so Top Tier Rails in my stashbox - multiples of every combination - I show up at events and instead of being one of the few using the Railway I'm just one of the many w/sounds of spikes cranking out all around me. Thank God I found a new contender and I still have my other favorite 😉 that still hasn't caught on yet so thats cool. So as far as the new Railgun nerf.... good, I'm getting sick of hearing 10+ of those firing off all around me at every event. (Yes... even mine), although the gun sounds a bit different when other players fire it ! Have fun with the new part of the map everyone and good luck with season 17 ( Protest: Bring back the game board ) Not a hater I have 1000's of hours into this great game and I just miss the feel of moving across the game board - instead of now just picking rewards w/tickets & doing nothing from pages 100 to 150 ! So, if we re-roll the Ticket To Revenge and land a quad, will it be 80 rounds??

You can’t reroll. It’s the same as the other plan legendary weapons you can craft.
