Awesome area down the lane and round the reservoir, can't believe you laughed when your bike went down I'd of cried mate. Thanks Steve 👊 yep, was bizarre when the wind battered down the chimney, sucked all the crimbo cards off the hearth 😲.. luckily we must have been on edge of it.. was a good ride out finding a new lane , and there was a bit more swearing before the edits when the bike went 😆.. hardly a scratch though so all good 👊

A nice explore mate. You are mad camping in winter up in Scotland 😀 Bad luck having to lay the bike down, it happens, and they are pretty tough.

Even though its local . Im trying to look at different roads and got lucky. Was a brilliant little excursion.. and yep, the wifes friend lives round the corner and her chimney fell into conservatory.. think you had an amber warning down south for wind.. just hope we all get some settled weather soon 👍

Getting chance was the main thing mate. We have been battered by storm after storm over holidays so seized the only good day 😃. Great lane that was though 👍.. At least I know the tyres limits on mud 🤣👍

Enjoyed that. I must take my Tiger up there, tank bars first though ffs. Nice work mate.

Rare occurance mate. Especially this strong. Just hope they dont become frequent . Too much faith in the adv tyres with the drop.. must remember. No muddy grass unless knobbies fitted 🤣👍

it happend to me in november on the lane leading to higher barn rivington, some of my mates had gone ahead seen it closed and come back down i stopped to let them pass then did a tight turn, i thought i had missed the wet leaves but no it skiided on them then on to the mud and i was down, the modern classical looking royal alloy scoots are top heavy and much wider than the old lambrettas it doesnt take much to make them go down..down to lower barn for a coffee and much piss taking lol...happy new year..

🤣👍... they will all laugh and one by one it will happen to them 😉.. I thought I would save it on the turn but jeez that thing is heavy .. maybe should have left in the 30 seconds trying to hold it before it dropped 🤣. Ahh well... as they say.... shit happens.😄👊

Bikes can be mended Martin, as long as you're ok ! Fair play for showing, not many would that's for sure. Pack an extra large power bank for Scotland trip & heat your jacket at night whilst in your maggot ( sleeping bag). Ride steady and stay safe 🤘

I was surprised there was barely a scratch to be fair, glad i fitted the crash bar bobbins 👍.. got to see the funny side . No going back when its down... deffo be taking plenty of backup power on the winter camp. Going off last years attempt , already upgraded some kit 😃.. apart from that.. im fine mate 👍
