The 'test for dirty' had moved quite a bit between the release of Back in the Saddle and Love in an Elevator. Big Ten Inch Record though reminds us that Aerosmith always had a dirty old man sense of humor.

Outside of the call and response from the band mates, the only people singing in the song are Steven Tyler and Joe Perry. Steven Tyler is providing the main vocal, but he's also providing all of the backup vocals which is the harmonizing you hear on top of the main melody line. Notice too, the melodies Steven Tyler tends to write for his songs are like the melodies that a composer would write for a horn section in an orchestra: there's a lot of rat-a-tat-tat in the rhythm of Tyler's melodies. That closing isolated melody that ends the song is Steven Tyler signing the melody, multiple harmony parts, and Joe Perry, the lead guitarist, singing in chorus to him. Speaking of isolated vocal tracks, there's a couple of isolated Aerosmith vocal tracks you can find here on KZread, but I suggest if you are going to react to them, make sure you do a back-to-back reaction with the song itself so you hear the song as you would do normally here, and then the isolated track afterwards. The other band members are Brad Whitford on rhythm guitar, Tom Hamilton on bass, and Joey Kramer on drums. There's so many Aerosmith songs to suggest for reaction, but I would be remiss if I did not suggest the MTV Orchestra version of Dream On done in the early 90s. For me it is quite possibly Steven Tyler's greatest vocal moment in a song performance. Amber will LOVE the Tyler falsettos he employs during that performance. There's a reason he's called the Demon of Screamin' and its proven in that moment. One last thing, you guys also might want to check out Steven Tyler's Vocal Range video. If you do that reaction, follow the note watching along in the description box of the video. That's important. I hope you guys see my comment and give me a reaction to it! Love your channel, guys, you put out some great reactions! Loving your Aerosmith content!

My wife had a work friend get married in the freight elevator at the Hampton Coliseum before the show with the band as the wedding party. Aerosmith paid for the wedding and used to send them an anniversary gift ever year. It was a pretty cool deal

aerosmith is such a power house. im so glad you are enjoying them. my favorite songs are "crying", "crazy" (steven tyler's daughter performs in the video) and "falling in love is hard on the knees", but the one i think you will be delighted to discover is "walk this way", a fun mix of all the things you like, jay in particular.

Aerosmith rules!!! They were full of energy, and had some great power ballads as well. My next Aerosmith suggestion is "What It Takes." It was at its peak position on the charts when I graduated from high school in 1990. Man, I wish I could go back. Our music was just one of many things that was better than today.

I saw them in concert in the 90’s. They are absolutely amazing to see. Stephen Tyler has so much energy. There are so many AeroSmith songs to listen to. They are all great too! You really should listen to AeroSmith with Run DMC. The song is “Walk This Way” and it is killer! No joke, it’s amazing. The video is great also.

Me too! I saw them twice in the 90’s while promoting the 9 lives album and then once more in the early 2000’s, all three times were amazing! They actually built a stage into the nose bleed section at one concert and played a few songs for those people. I was like 6 ft from that stage!!!! AMAZING!!!

This album got me “pumped” back in the day. All bangers. Joe Perry (Guitar/vocals) and Steven Tyler are called the “Toxic Twins” due to their heavy drug use in the beginning of their career. Also their friendship and the fact they wrote 85 songs together calls for the name Twins.

Great reaction Guys, this track was from the album ' Pump ' I swear to you, the entire album, every track is as good as this. Check it out in your own time if you have time, the tracks roll in and out of each other, you won't be disappointed, this was their second comeback album after Permanent Vacation, which was great, but ' Pump ' put Aerosmith back on top. Joe Perry on that lead guitar, great band!

I was raised on Aerosmith and many of my childhood memories are connected to their songs. It was one of my father’s favorite bands and we lost him in 1991 when I was 9. I was 7 when this song was released and there is home movie footage (on VHS, of course) of my sister and I singing and dancing to this video when it came on MTV. I had to be 8 or 9. I fulfilled a major bucket list item in 2004 when I got to see them live with my mother and sister. They played all their great classics and it was brilliant. My father was definitely there with us in spirit. I love to see y’all react to one of my favorite groups and this reaction in particular was wonderful. ❤

Steven Tyler + Joe Perry = Toxic Twins (a title earned in the 70's for their drug use, fortunately for us they all cleaned up. Steven is also known as "The Demon of Screamin' " (Well earned title.) Love in an Elevator was written by Steven about a real incident that happened to him. Next try: WHAT IT TAKES (Rock with a hint of country). JANIES GOT A GUN: award winning video, very powerful. DUDE LOOKS LIKE A LADY (the woman who is wearing the helmet is Theresa, Stevens' wife at the time.

Their song "I Don't Want to Miss a Thing", most think is a love song, it's really about his daughter Liv Tyler. It was written for the movie "Armageddon" which she is one of the stars. When the producers found out who her father was, they asked if she could get him to write a song for the movie. It's about when she was a baby and he didn't want to miss any part of her life.

Not the Mall kind but one the old downtown area department stores they refurbished for the shoot. Then used concert footage as well.
