Join me as I build a bench in the middle of the woods using only hand tools. This is one of my favorite trails currently but there are no trail benches anywhere for miles. So, I decided I would find one of my favorite sights along the river and construct a wooden bench from timber that had fallen from nearby trees. I just so happen to find a sycamore tree lying in the grassy woodland near the river. I decided to construct the whole bench from this sycamore tree using only hand tools and no hardware. This bushcraft bench was really fun to create and by using common woodworking and bushcraft techniques I was able to create some pretty cool woodworking joinery as well. I hope you enjoy it!
