He also commonly critiqued Clinton as not having the stamina to run against him. I felt like that was the primary part of the bar since he referenced it probably a dozen times over his debates and rallies

One of the disadvantages of reacting to these out of order is that you unfortunately miss a lot of the callbacks, such as Lincoln and his slaps.

I meant that I was reading to much into the meaning of the word "governor" thinking they might have been making a double reference. Mr. Baio's character "Charles" would have been a governor for the children and Trump recommending Mr. Herbster as Governor of Nebraska being the connection I was seeing.

man you missed out on the golden era of youtube politics lol. EVERYONE was making some type of drama videos "exposing" others. It was like having front row seats to a street fight. I'd come home from community college and there would be a dozen new videos of both sides of the political isle calling eachother out. Sucks a lot of the right wing videos got nuked when youtube cracked down hard in 2017-18 cause of the adpocalypse. Watching Trump thug moment compilations was hilarious. Regardless of his politics, he certainly knew how to shove crap into all the faces of the slimy politicians on the stage Republicans and Democrats alike. Voted for him cause I didnt like how for years politicians had been saying stuff but doing the opposite or nothing at all. The left has Trump to thank for them getting a fire going and actually holding their politicians accountable. Both sides of the isle had their voter base realize that the people they voted for didnt represent them. And holding politicians accountable became a real priority and concern for both sides. TL;DR 2015-17 was the best era of youtube for me hands down. I love watching politics and it was awesome to see politicians have their whole fake stage play exposed. I feel like this country needs to get serious about actually making change. Not just talking about it, regardless if it breaks tradition

Dude I just wanna say I rly admire you. Your knowledge on so many things and how you break down all these lyrics. For a non-native english speaker (like me) some references are hard to get and you're like a saviour.

You really should do the Mitt Romney versus Barack Obama Erb next time while this is still fresh so you get a better feel for the Abe Lincoln cameo. The slaps are explained in that battle as well.

The Charles in Charge line is about Scott Baio, who was one of the first celebrities that came out in support of Trump for president. Charles in Charge was a sitcom from the 80's that Baio was the main character Charles.

Maybe. I remember Bernie supporters at the time being very mad at Clinton because of some potentially underhanded tactics to get the nomination. Would Sanders as VP have been enough to get the supporters who felt cheated to vote for Hillary especially since it already looked like she was going to beat Trump without their votes? Yes, Abe is legendary. I enjoyed your 2 cents on the rap. I also enjoy your two cents on the political situation. It is correct, people shouldn't put people on pedal stools and be able to critique every candidate on horrible stuff they may have done. We should focus on policies not the personality of the presidential candidate. As a country we do deserve better, but what is shocking is the we have 4 parties but the other two just can't get the momentum (*cough* *cough* money) to be taken seriously by the media to publically promote and spread their names to the people.
