Lads, as a massive Arctic Monkeys fan I can only encourage you to please continue reacting to them. They’re an unreal band especially live and have so many different sounds over the years so they don’t get boring. And the fact I grew up about 15 minutes from where they did I love to see they’ve done so well and when people like yourselves react to them.

I saw them in Cardiff and the reverend and the makers were their warm up band....I had my t shirt ripped off my back in the mosh...what a night
Arctic Monkeys was such a big thing in the UK, they really were the sountrack of my teens. If you watch them play this live, the crowd is so loud singing along!
What makes this song more amazing is the fact the band were 17 - 18 years of age when they wrote this. All time classic no doubt

Loved them from the start.&also alannis morrisette was only 18 when she wrote her no.1 album
This song in a club is phenomenal, everyone knows it word for word

im a grime kid, but after hearing this and looks good on the dansfloor, i was fully sold on these boys
They are saying 'They said it changes when the sun goes down'. The frontman Alex Turner is from Sheffield, Yorkshire so that's the accent he's got. They used to have a practice room as a band in Neepsend (an area of Sheffield) and that lyric was written about the room. The producer used to tell them to Lock the door to the practice room because the area wasn't a safe one after dark. Neepsend is known for having lots of prostitutes. My family live in Sheffield and I'm a big fan of the arctic monkeys! Suggestions - Do I wanna know, mardy bum, R U Mine, Do me a favour They are some of the more famous songs though there are many!

Alex Turner's dad was a music teacher at Rawmarsh comprehensive school. His dad always used to say his son had more music talent in his little finger than us lot lol. Guess he wasn't lying haha. The reytons are another local band I think from swinton.
I'm 38 now. Arctic Monkeys were the sound of my early 20s. Saw them live in Paris in 2022. Still great.

@@RobinHood-us7sg Stephen Graham is a superb actor in literally everything he's done. I really didn't know he was in this video until I recognised him. Nice one for the Arctic Monkeys and probably nice one for SG too as they're a genuinely well thought of band, not like some fly by night one hit wonders

@@djee475 was there in 2006 to saw them during the afternoon. I was 15. I had the chance to met Alex and Matt in Bruxelles, and they invited me on their guest list for a private 1h30 show in 2022. Best day of my life. I know every B-Sides and other weird stuff they did like Mongrel (Matt and Andy) and every cover their did. Best band in my life.
I Bet That You Look Good on The Dance Floor was their first single. Another absolute banger.
Watch arctic monkeys live at Glastonbury, they were only a band for I think a year, had 1 album out, then got to headline Glastonbury which is the biggest festival in the uk, the control they had of the crowd is insane
"Do I wanna know" is a banger.

least interesting Arctic Monkeys song in existence lmfao
Arctic Monkey's are the bomb. They're from Sheffield,Yorkshire. They are one of the best live bands.
They say it changes when the sun goes down.. around here.. In other words, certain parts of town make look ok during the day, but at night is when the ladies of the night appear. Being from sheffield, same as the band, i remember my Nan saying that about streets surrounding the town centre.. Its a phrase ive heard before msny times, their first album was so ridiculously relatable to me and many others it was unbelievable.. Especially riot van and mardy bum too

Arctic Monkeys 505 Beautiful song and a great ender when I’ve seen them live. 😊
They were touring for so long before they brought their first album out, there was such buzz around the band anticipating the album release.

React to Fluorescent Adolescence! (Arctic Monkeys)
What a tune. My early teenage years this album was 😁
You probably couldn't see for the lights but you were staring straight at me is a belter tune. Have a listen.
They said it changes when the sun goes down around here refers to were they used to rehearse in an old workshop in the Neepsend part of Sheffield which was a red light area “When The Sun Goes Down”.
Also, the band getting into the car at 4:15 is the actual Arctic Monkeys !
Matt Helders might be the most underrated drummer in the last 20 years
U got a whole rabbit hole of arctic monkeys u gotta go down now
Arctic Monkeys are soooooo good to see live, they're from my town so I've seen them a million times throughout my life, the consistency is so good.
If I was you, and am not, but if I was, I would listen to this song live version 👀👀👀👀🔥
Been away for a while due to sickness…. Come back to see what my 2 favourite reactors have been watching… to see this absolute BANGER!!! Yesss!!!!! 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻
You have to check out some of there live performances, the one from glastonbury in there first year as a band is probably the best !
Arctic Monkeys go crazy live.
One of my favorite Artic Monkeys songs, good to see you reacting to it! If you want to do another one try, "A View from the afternoon" another good one from them.
The first music i ever liked. I was 10 years old when i heard their first album - It’s still played daily. Please react to more, specifically their first 3 albums, and PLEASE react to when the sun goes down / brianstorm live!!
Their 2013 Glastonbury set is amazing. Definitely worth checking out.
Arctic Monkeys are my favorite band. It's fun to hear this song at their early stage in their career and then to listen to their album 'The Car" from last year. Totally different vibe. More mellow but like full surround sound in your headphones like a classic record from the 60s. 'There'd Better Be A Mirrorball" is a good one to check out of their current album or their live version of 'I Ain't Quite Where I Think I Am'. But defintely check out literally any song off their album 'AM' its a fan favorite and just every song is a hit.
Love Arctic monkeys!! So glad ur on this!
Please react to more artic monkeys soo soo many top tracks an albums, one of the best bands from the uk, Glastonbury 2007 set has to top list. 🙏🙏
You got the uk buzzing with this, this was a huge time in music for alot of people all through the 2000s. Their 1st album is probably still most people favourites. I just hope you can understand the words as they keep it proper yorkshire.
i love this reaction! never thought the two of you would react to artic monkeys. i have a few suggestions for newer artic monkey listeners, songs being: 505 Do I wanna know R U Mine Do me a favor I love the recent content you two have been dropping, keep it up!
As an Artic monkeys fan I m telling you that they deserve to be listen.
They say it changes when the sun goes down, yeah they say it changes when the sun goes down.
Alex and his Monkeys are ridiculously super once in a generation talented musicians.....
Akala's Arctic Monkeys freestyle 🔥 Has to be next 😊 A merge of two genres 😎 Fantastic reaction as ever my friends.

He told Roxanne to put on her red light - reference to the police song of the same name
Love you guys reacting to Arctic Monkeys, I grew up listening to them!
First album by these is a classic, I gave up playing in bands when I saw how talented these were and how young
MORE ARCTIC MONKEYS FROM THE FIRST TWO ALBUMS 🙏 View from the Afternoon
You have just entered the Arctic Monkeys wormhole. Enjoy 🍻
I can't believe how underrated they are. They deserve way more recognition. Lately I can't stop listening to Nick Thurl Mavromatis' new song. You need to react to it out 🔥
Was not expecting this reaction but I love it
An absolutley amazing artic monkeys song with an amazing video aswell is "Leave Before the Lights Come On"
Got to love that Yorkshire accent
the most amazing thing about this is they were about 17 when they made it
If you don't continue on an Arctic Monkeys run you will regret it. The drummer is first class.
One of my fave songs... ❤
First time I've noticed it's the actor from 'This is England' .. can't remember his name. Great actor!
Please just dive into it..they are one of their kind with a, amongst others, ridiculously fine drummer 🙏
" They say it changes when the sun goes down, around here". I was a massive Artic monkeys fan
Stephen Graham is an amazing actor his best role for me was playing Combo in This is England the film and Tv series
More of this please!!
Glastonbury live is a must..mostly their older music 👍
Ty guys, appreciate you 🙏👍
OMG he knows Jet?? Not many people do... Huge W!
Massively disappointed you missed the Roxanne line. Come on boys!!
Stephen Graham is in Band of Brothers too… makes a great US soldier as well as a Pimp great range.
Great song writing.. they have real classic songs

Yaasss! One of our best exports. Lots of Love from the UK 💜💖❤ -x-
You're right about the Jet similarity. Both bands are from the same era so they had similar styles....raw, loose, punky power pop
Definitely need more arctic monkeys! Watch there Glastonbury set 👍🏼
'They say it/said it changes when the sun goes down' :)
You should check out Arctic Monkeys live at Glastonbury.
You should really check out their live version of this and Brianstorm at Glastonbury festival to see just how talented these boys are
Love your content and can't believe you haven't checked out AM before. They are in my top 3 bands of all time. Each of their albums has a theme within itself and a bit "samesy", but each album is very different from each other. Each of them are extremely talented.
You have to do this song live at Glastonbury! You have to react to more arctic monkeys but do live to see how good they are
Omg Yes more arctic monkeys that entire album literally blindfold yourself a point at it and any song will be unreal
Bear in mind they were 15-17 yrs old I believe when they made this album… madness
They were Gods. Those two first albums are lighting in a bottle. Both of them.
And They said it changes when the sun goes down, round here
"They said it changes when the sun goes down.. around here."
Little known fact, a good friend of mine used to work with Lauren Socha (girl in the video) in the care industry before she was famous. Just telling the world 😂
Anything early monkeys is amazing. Mardy bum is real good though. Always in pubs in Donny and Sheffield (where there from )
She was in Misfits! Lol miss that show
I was thinking about you guys today.... It seems we've a pretty awesome collection of music here in the UK that either didn't make it to the US or did but didn't make the top of the billboard. To be fair, quite a lot happened about 20 years ago, but now, still has value for us all in 2024. Just wanted to suggest Faithless and Apollo 440 ❤
Lauren Socha is the girl, fame came a little too quickly for her after the Channel4 series Misfits and an outburst nearly torpedoed her career, but she went quiet for a couple of years, rebuilding her career. This video was also chopped together from a short film funded by the artic monkeys. She was brilliant as Kelly in Misfits…which actually launched some serious British talent

Little bit more than just an outburst. Wasn't she convicted of assault? Her brother Michael is an actor too, and he's fared a little bit better in that regard, though haven't seen him in anything very recently.
Bets rock band of this generation, I'm from UK and they are legends ...even for me as a hip-hop head ..please Do the Arctic monkeys album "whatever people say I am, that's what I am not"
These guys and the band called "the neighborhood " Aare TOP NOTCH
One of the best debut albums of all time, it's a shame they never really managed to reach that level again imo
All my neighbours growing up in highgreen sheffield
From my home town 🔥🔥🔥
Must do Arctic Monkeys: Brainstorm, Secret Door, Crying Lightnig, or R U Mine.
"he told roxanne to put on her red light" is a Police reference (the band police with sting - "Roxanne!...... you dont have to put on your red light")
