He's also won championships at every level on his way to the NHL. He also has access to every great player alive, including Gretzky and he has picked their brains on what all of this is like and what it takes to win. Time zones weren't a factor, the start times were the same for the Panthers 8:00 their time 6:00 MST

Connor McDavid is a straight up PRO. He isn't fatigued because he has the work put in, he is in the exact shape he needs to be. He is a stand-up man ready to go. Mentally and physically strong. Its freaking awesome! obviously for hockey fans but in general for all people, Its so great to see a an absolute MASTER at work like this. Cats have been neutered. KZreadr literally sounds like he’s navel-gazing and trying to sound intelligent in a chamber losing its echo. A whole lotta talk by peeps on the history the Oilers are making now, and I’ve joined a lot of that talk myself. But I think just as historic is the complete unraveling of the Panthers. Losing the Cup on Monday, along with losing it last year, is something that this current roster in its present incarnation will never recover from. Psychology is the greatest and most underrated factor in all sports. The Oilers have actually only played one bad game and that was game 2. They dominated games 1&3 and actually began flipping the script in the third period of Game 3. Anyone who’s really paid attention shouldn’t be surprised by what’s happened in this series. The lesson is that the Panthers need a bit more maturity, and so do their hyperbolic, emotional fans who reflect their team - well known as the dirtiest team in the league. If they could fix those things they could be the best hockey team in the world. True they did clean up their act a bit these playoffs, but their general mean-spirited disposition and immaturity is still apparent. Sadly, I don’t think they’ll recover from this. I’ll finally say it. Sorry Panthers fans. I feel for you.
