Very nice! The boards don’t have to be square, make them yours. Beautiful job!

I have the perfect fabric for the edges...I got some Walmart fabric on clearance quite some ago for 25 cents a yard....that will be perfect for a project like that.

Yes!!!! Cause honestly, you don’t want to use a good jelly roll for this. I have so many of those strips from those Moda scrap bags, I need to use some up lol. I don’t think I’ll ever get done with my string quilt if I try and use them all 😂

The boards look great. I'm going to try these ,they'll be a lot cheaper than buying them. Thanks for sharing.

Thank you 🥰 they are MUCH cheaper making them yourself. Another lady on my channel said she uses the cute decorative duct tape instead of the fabric around the edges, which is genius if you don’t wanna open a new jelly roll

You could try nail polish remover to get the glue off or paint brush cleaner but wash straight away

I don't own a hot glue gun, so I bought some Heat & Bond Ultra and cut strips a tiny bit narrower than the folded width of the binding strips. Then carefully used my iron to set the glue onto the boards in a similar technique to how you've shown. I have boards all different sizes from about 20" to 6". The 6" ones are great for throwing into cross stitch project bags.

@@IndecisiveQuilter I plan on buying some heat and bond for when I do my others. I bet it’s so much easier.
