@@Moonlakes I actually played her quite a lot. She has a lot of burst and pushes well with Q and her auto reset, quite safe with spell shield and ult ms, and also force engage / disengage with ult. Champions like Rammus, Blitz, Darius, Hecarim, Alistar, Thresh, Annie, Nasus, Maokai, Olaf, Skarner all work very well with her.

Who thought that not giving him mana is a good idea

That would be kind of cliche for a character like him tho. I actually imagined him more like an unfiit king to rule that was blinded by love based on his stories. He's a bit too edgy but not nearly as much as Yone imo. He reminds me of Alucard from Castelvania.

God I love this champ. Riot has really been knocking it out of the park with these new ideas, even if they've all been grossly overloaded. This last year has been wildly fun with all of the new champs and playstyles, IMO.

His Q scales of crit and attacks speed he’s yasuo 3.0

everyone keeps comparing him to sylas but they are forgetting this ENTIRE concept of using the enemies fed carries against them ... was originally mordekaisers concept

I feel like he's only strong if he's properly utilized, it feels like he has some really strong payoffs but if you misplay even once as him you'll likely lose the fight. Just my thoughts, loved the video Zwag.

Isn't the true of every champion in the game, though? I mean... maybe you could argue that with a champion like Ziggs or Caitlyn that plays from the back and also has an escape button, a misplay might only be missed damage that loses your team an important fight. But even with those champs, a misplay might also mean that Zac comes flying in and snipes you because your team isn't close enough to your position to stop it. ... I do agree that he's sort of all-in. Once you W forward in a teamfight, somebody is dying. Sometimes it's Viego.

@@adcyuumi You have a point, I guess where you went with it was kind of more what I mean with him kind of being all or nothing in a fight, or if he accidentally possesses a weak enemy member and just dies then he's useless. Just one misstep would be all it would take for him to lose whereas a champion like Darius, Ekko, Gangplank, or really any other sustain or mobile champion could recover from a misplay.

He seems like he's going to be the type of champion to be okay in teamfights and fantastic in sequential skirmishes, great in 1v1s as well

Viego's kit is really similar to Senna's one (not the ult). Q is an AoE Attack, that heal, the w is an immobilizing spell and his E is a movement speed and camouflaging spell. They're the opposite sides of the same coin👍

This reminds me of old school morde. I remember there were a few videos of the team feeding the adc the morde would ult them.

All healing reduction is applied under grievous wounds. So whichever grievous wound effect is the strongest will apply, not 5 of them.

They also missed the chance to make him the majestic badass King, who was the sole reason why the blessed isles went to shit with all the attached Champions. Instead we got this wimpy Teenage edgelord with a sword he stole from daddy and is now posing with. So im not surprised about missed opportunities

@@faselfasel2864 To be fair he never intended to cause the ruination he just wanted to bring his wife back to life and things went out of control. Furthermore he was never described in a badass way in the lore to begin with. He always has been a guy that was to foolish or stubborn to accept his wives death and becasue of this he doomed the blessed isles because he just could not move on. If you ask me that sounds more like a character from a Shakespeare play then a badass.

@@lcintra_ I read the lore very receptively. I just heavily disagree with the notion that him only putting his dead wife in the blessed water basically doomed an entire landscape. I would have imagined him to have done something super sinister to cause something like that to happen. It's just a very weak trope to go off, especially considering that the ruined king himself didnt even possess any kind of magic or special power in the first place. Every other shadow isle champion before had to be kinda special and powerful in live before.

The fact that there is no comment on him buying HIS BLADE bothers me a little too much. If there is I couldn't trigger it on PBE.

I know he doesn't scales with health but I'm thinking an offtank/brusier build with grasp or conq, the sheen item for tanks, ruined king, etc just like the Tank Ezreal you did

It makes sense he's a jungle, imagine killing Morgana, posesing her and then stun the adc for a double

Honestly his ganks are pretty mediocre. The w doesn't go very far and who's going to sit near the fog? Though there is merit to playing him as an invading jger instead of ganking.

I haven’t played this game in years, but this champion, this champions my current champion. I could absolutely never one trick a champion just because of how much I like variety in my gameplay back when I played almost 10 years ago now. I played Ahri, He always stayed behind his minions and when he felt like it he leaped himself over the wave, forward right ontop of me chain stunning and bursting my face. I did not know you could play Rell like that. Thankfully i kinda caught myself, tho it was kinda annoying to play against in early game.

I called this build yesteday before he was released aka (goredrinker bork and tankyAD and he destroies them hard. That beinf aaid though bork + the dash crit item and full crit is also op af because of how fucking hard his ult. scales off crit. There is also a small but with viego and galio when you kill galio and possess him. After you finish possessing you keep his magic shield which is dope lol

I would love a shang tsung like champ, that randomly rotates a certain champ pool like aphelios weapons. this would be super hard to balance but hell yeah, fiesta all day long :D

7:52 the morde ult was canceled cause he is unstoppable when ulting so when morde ulted him he was unable to be cced. Morde ult counts as cc
