@@swolekoz a vote isn't even necessary, but from KZread's perspective they should be open with creators about changes coming down the pipeline, allowing for some input, and making it clear what is and isn't allowed. What's the most BS is that they loosely apply the rules, rarely review appeals, and have algorithms automatically nuking channels that people rely on for income. I'm all for platforms doing their thing even if it sucks, it's just weird when they do shit that benefits no one whatsoever.

@@JonahVeilGaming If you look back at the 90s and early 2000s where the gung ho christians were rampant, ads were far more spicy and far reaching. It's not because of the "almighty dollar". Anyone could tell you that if your market audience is adults, than you should put ads on videos adults watch. Not to mention all of the polarizing ads they do put out, it just so happens to be in support of the dominate narrative. The reason for the current market strategy is because the people who run these companies are unreasonably afraid of small vocal minorities of a certain political alignment....
