Oh Jen thank you! So many times I've admired your headwear and wanted to ask how you do it, but didn't. I thought you might prefer that we keep comments book related. So now that you've asked if we have other questions, YES, and here are my two... Would you PLEASE walk us through that lovely garden we often see out your windows? I garden here in the US, so I'd love to hear you tell us a bit about what grows in your world. Also, would you talk a bit about your sweet little dog? Thank you bunches! Congratulations on your KZread success and on your books! You are a jewel!

Wow, the possible Chernobyl connection is food for thought, I can see why that would add an extra layer when watching the series. I was a kid at the time and remember being so freaked out hearing about the contaminated rain (North here also, hi) that I refused to touch my monkey who'd got rained on in the garden. Possibly the first time I felt fear of the world.

Love these chatty videos. I swear, I could listen to you talk all day.. ever think about narrating audio books? You'd be awesome for it. I was a bit floored when you showed us how to do the beanie+headscarf. I had NO clue this is something you put together and not a pre-made store bought product. How did I miss that? And how freakishly creative are you? Also, you're quite right, they're part of your style now and they suit you so well. It's making me want to find my own stylish thing and believe me, I usually don't care one bit about being fashionable or stylish. I'd like to see these videos about food in books etc. Other ideas: doing a video on books you have an emotional attachment to or which you kept for other reasons than (just) its content (Russell from Ink and Paper Blog did this in his recent bookshelves tour and it was suprisingly enjoyable to hear someone talk about books in other terms than whether it was a good or bad read). Another commenter here suggested to make a vid about 5 milestones from your past. I'd like to add the suggestion to talk about 5 milestones for your future. Videos about annotating/writing and fairytales history are also very enjoyable. I've always wanted to go to Scotland but seeing this, it's moved up on my wishlist of places to go - thank you for sharing. xo

I just want to say thank you Jen, for being you and for sharing your journey regarding your alopecia with us. This might me oversharing but I've gained more confidence in my own appearance and how I express myself from watching your videos and chats about the bodily changes that you are undergoing. You're such a cool person and I've longed for waring a headscarf for years now but I didn't want to draw any more attention to myself then I already do by being a person of colour. Then when you started waring headscarfs and I saw how stylish that was I started trying the ones I had at home on during the summer and now I ware one several times a week. It's like I'm channeling my inner cool-Jen when I do it and I think of you when I tie it on.

Congrats Jen! I love your idea of cooking something mentioned in a novel. And as a celebration is cause for a party & you’ve introduced us to so many other booktubers, how about celebrating by inviting the girls around to bring a plate of something they’ve made inspired by a book that’s important to them? I am sure you know this but you do not have to apologize for all of your scarves. If they are enriching your life and not hurting someone else it is not a problem. I have some health issues and as a result I have more weight, not ideal but I do. I cannot always wear the latest fashion, just don't always fit so I have about 75 pairs of earnings, because my ears don't change size. Is it a lot, yes but do they bring me happiness, absolutely.
