There's a hidden third one that involves only players under a certain player level where it dumps all of them on one side and every player that is level 100 on the other side. I experienced that many times and I don't think I've ever won once on the newbie side.

I wonder how many hours he has to play just to get enough content for one video tbh, for me it seems like I'll go 3 or 4 games of getting selfish/unhelpful teammates/I'm just sucking & then I'll get one really amazing game then 3 or 4 more meh games etc etc.

Well, this is a bit more complex question. When mounted in a lightly armored vehicle, there is a chance that block would be ripped out of the vehicle alltogether, actually there is a testimony of Pak 43 cannon ripping T-34's engine out of the chassis and T-34 isn't exactly that lightly armored :)

@@pieterfouche1617 What I love the most is how the tank is burning, but the crew is not bothered, the tank can fire twice and then extinguishing the raging fire still takes just a few seconds. There is absolutely no penalty for sitting there and burning.

@@ironduke5058 Well, not really. It takes ages before the fire starts doing some significant damage. Until then - it's all good. And you can burn like that twice, only 3rd fire will kill you. No real penalty for not taking care of the fire ASAP. That'\s pretty much idiotic.

I consider a 3 kill game a good game but 45 KILLS IN 4 GAMES IS INSANE!

@@UCKY5 funny enough if you think about it, it's a prototype from another Prototype (atleast this one fits the bill) of the T23E3, which basically is like the M3Lee of tanks, but just didn't make it to battle production standards, which i guess the Lee could be called that? i dunno; which has the same crew guardrailing on the right of the tank which got me thinking they added the T23 for a second, but instead added the more successful prototype instead, which i find much better.

Finally somebody embraces the might of the T25 This tank is great on its own, but the lineups you can build around it are equally powerful. At the 6.0/.3 range you have the M41, T26, 76mm jumbo, hellcat, M26, AD-4/2, AU-1 and the F8F 1/1B

I remember being in that Normandy match with my Tiger I. It was kind of frustrating seeing the half team die (including me) because of that one T25. Now i know what happened there.

@@zachhaigh5535 sorry, but if you are struggling in german armor, that is completely on you. This video is an excellent showcase of that: plhy could play almost any tank, and the result would be the same, because most shots were from the side. Germany players really do look impressively stupid, more than the average. Anyone who can play a Sherman vs a Panther well can completely stomp using a Panther vs the sherman. The thing is, Germany players are just terrible, hence their vehicles keep getting buffed.

My US lineup at this moment is the T25, M26, T26E1-1 and I love it, especially after all those damn shermans. Seeing a Tiger player bewildered at what just happened when you disable them is great. Also, you can actually pen Tiger II (P)'s with the T25 from the front, just aim for the middle buldge of the turret on either side of the gun.

I swear phly has become so much more musical since hitting 1M

Hey Phly, crazy idea but I think it would be awsome if you created a second channel focused on short map strategy and basics for each BR. You could even go as far as the break down a specific tanks strengths and weaknesses in each video like armor, speed, turret rotation, etc. I think it could be a lot of fun for you and really help out players looking to get better at war thunder and not really knowing how.

Really wish Phly would bring out aircraft aswell in these tank games.

@@titan_tanker I thought at first because he wanted to be fair but seeing him rape the enemy team without a plane in almost all of his videos I think that's not the case. He even J'd out when he wanted to play the plane in earlier videos. I think what's happening here is that he wants to make Oddbawz content more unique so he lets Oddbawz do the tank/plane combo. They seemed to have some sort of deal earlier with weird promotions. I do not hate Phly for not bringing out a plane, I just thought it'd be more fun :)

@@erstcl i remember seeing old game play of it and newer game play the lock on is much better now, and it is easier to lock on to targets in the one km lock on range(and i know because i have played the plane recently and the radar is much better then in all of the videos from a year ago when it was given radar)

I got a 13 kill no death game yesterday and thought to myself: "Hey I'm pretty good" And Phly's like: *imma destroy this man's entire career*

One of these days I hope to actually see him in game.

I have been playing on and off for a while now but I remember grinding through these lower tier USA tanks when they didn't have a stabilizer and man, NO game ever went like that for me. It was absolute hell grinding through them back in the day. I am grinding through 8.0 to get to top tier now. Maybe I should go back and play some low tier tanks. Might have fun for once. EDIT: Thinking about it more. I also went through these Tanks back when APHE had less pen then normal AP.

It's a good tank but it gets only two kinds of battles. 1) EBR spam 2) Tiger and Panther spam or a combination of both. It's just sad, but there are so many fun vehicles in this game in BR hell that just can't get a decent match up.

Day 1 of thanking Phly for devoting his life to War Thunder

Been watching Phly and playing this game for years, finally get into a game with Phly, and embarrass myself by playing terribly lol.

This, the 76 jumbo, the Jackson, the Hellcat, and the Bulldog make a great 5.7-6.0 america lineup and some amazing CAS planes around the same BR.

I feel like this video is the sole reason it was raised to 6.3. Some Gaijin dev saw this and crapped their pants.

T26 looks even more "irregular" with all the extra crap welded to it,

i really love this game, wish i had as much fun as you do, but it just burns my soul researching a tank for 2 months because i dont have money to throw at this game. love ur content

Oh T25, you were the vehicle that finally broke my heart and made me leave. I was not a good player, pretty much 50% W-L ratio, but i was good with the T25. Until they started relentlessly raising the BR on it, and it stopped being fun.

One of my favorite tanks in game. if you play it right you can make crazy things like you did here

Pro tip for the 76 Jumbo and T25: After you hit a Jagdpanther's gun and break it, you can simply shoot right through the MG port, no need to flank around. Also works for the MG port on the Panther A As for the T-44, the turret armour is trolly, the cupola is a lot safer bet and still has a chance to one-shot the tank.

T25 has become my best tank ... Just love it when you learn how to properly use it. Only thing that is a bit more complicated with it, is facing Tiger II (H) from the front, just take APCR with you.

But no kills in a M47 105mm at 7.3 for the sake of Pasta please play it phlu

Nowadays, they murdered the t25, bumped it to 6.3 then got rid of stab and left it there. It's almost pitiful now

You should definitely play the m26. It has easily become one of my favorite tanks in the game.

Day 9: Can Steve play the v.g.33 in air rb? It's a very good plane, easy to phly, and is good enough to get you to rank phive pretty quickly. Also, any plane related video is appreciated, and today I was heaving a blast watching your year old vids, from back when you where a top tire player. Important notes about the plane: 1: it can out do p38Gs at 17000 ft. 2: it can out climb 109s. 3: it can out energy retain the me262.

I’ve been saying this for 2 years. The T25 is one of the best tanks in the game. 90mm cannon, with decent speed, wonderful traverse, and a stabilizer. And, just enough armor to not get beaned by meme AA.

@Phly: you asked what happens to a engine block if its struck by a tank round... if its radial it can tear itself apart in flames or lock up if its inline it will either crack and burn or lock up
