I have a idea for making special models for shiny mythics! Instead of giving the modeling team a lot of work, maybe we could organize a model creation contest where people make cool models in Blockbench for mythics and submit them for review. Then the community can vote for their favorite model for each mythic!

If Wynncraft did things like this, I believe the server would already be in a better place. Unfortunately, this isn't something that happens frequently if at all. The idea is good but there is the possibility that the models submitted would not actually be good enough and they'd have to face the wall of expectations instead of actually waiting for each Mythic to have a "best" (according to Salted's vision) result. If people would like to model for Wynncraft, they are better off just volunteering for the team rather than waiting for a contest. I say this, but I'm still 100% all for Wynncraft involving their community more. Your idea could be used. Maybe not as a contest (voting could still be done on the site for fun and to increase interaction), but instead just a submission where evaluation is done behind the scenes

Please tell Salted that I thank him so much for making Wynncraft, it has honestly left such a memorable gaming moment for me back in 2014 when I was only 12, now coming back at 21 to it and I am so glad it is still around and adding new expansions constantly. Salted, Grian and Jumla I truly appreciate you guys and love Wynncraft forever.

Idea for questions for the next interview 1. Will Wynncraft ever get some Custom Blocks and Sounds? 2. Will we ever see new models for Weapons and Armor? (Not cosmetics but the models that are actually integrated into a gameplay, for example Slime Armor that would look like an actual Slime Armor and not some regular greed dyed leather set) 3. Are Minecraft 1.12 noteblocks going to be used in the future? 4. Is Mob AI going to be updated? 5. Will the Lore get updated? (Now this one is especially interesting because there are some plot holes and missing parts like Bob's disappearance) 6. What about Ocean revamp? 7. Will we get more Dungeons (Gavel Dungeons for example) and Raids (like Ba'kal Raid or Dullahan Raid or perhaps some Raid in Fruma)? 8. More classes? 9. More abilities? (Perhaps through adding a new button like "F") 10. Will we get to use an off hand? 11. Horse update? With new mounts perhaps? 12. More world bosses? 13. More uses of The Door of Time? 14. Are we going to see a Realm of War? 15. Is Dern going to be as small as the Realm of Light? 16. Mythic drop notification?

I think that if they're looking for a good rare cosmetic thing to add to the game they should do mounts. If they were to have an actual effect it could just be a slight speed boost or they'd just be cool mounts.

before lr update, my pouch only had ~5 LE, now I have ~20 EBlocks in my pouch because all the money goes to ingredients for professions :))

Good insight from Salted. Happy that he wants the game to not be luck based exclusive and leaning more towards overall progression. Power progression should never be locked behind luck. Luck should only be used to help you get to that maximum power faster, and you should be able to grind to that point.

The main problem of mythic prices that with new system we got same mythics such as a strati for example 4-5 times and it's so easy to obtain while lootrunning 2-3 hours, i mean... if you got bad rolls on your mythic or even got BAD MYTHIC itself (like dawnbreak) you just can't sell them cos they will worth nothing at all. And the Amount of emeralds in long runs... 30+ LE per Hour of lootrunning while have almost 100% chance in 1.5k pulls is horrible. As a result Emeralds more viable than Mythics. To solve this, they could make lootruns not free to enter or have a cooldown to them like an hour. But random side of the beacon generating process will be so sad

Or instead make mythic scrapable and use that scraped items to increase chance or increase id for the other mythics you want. All power progression should never be luck based exclusive. Yes, luck will get you to that maximum point faster, but you should be able to grind to that maximum point regardless.

@@Olinus10 The problem for me is progression. i had no mythics pre 2.0.3 and can afford EVERYTHING Now on, every archer's, Asassins', Mage's and Shaman mythics. Only thing i can't afford is Idol just cos it was never on lootruns and have insanely high cost (however macro nerf made Idol much weaker and almost worthless to buy for most people). And i have nothing to do in the game, all my 5 classes max builded with mythics, i have nothing to grind for, all quest lines done as well. So 2.1 When?

only need 102 since Point of No Return is the last LE quest

U should add mythic scrap, for example, you have a trash stardew, you can scrap it and use it to make another trash stardew turn into an unidentified stardew so you can reroll it again. I think mythic burning is what the game needs overall, legendary and below items get burned everyday but mythics never get sold to blacksmith unless its for fun

@@Olinus10 yes but the scrap has to be specific towards the mythic that you'd like to turn back into an unidentified item, currently i believe that burning mythics will be a great way to keep playing gambling and spending more LE, furthermore, gambling through rerolling stuff is super fun and kind of the reason why i feel like a lot of players love lootrunning or farming gear in the first place

Great interview but it seems a bit out of touch to think that the mythic prices will go up again after having every single one in the pool just on different runs, like how are the prices supposed to go up again. He aknowledges that the community underprices their mythics cause of the myth that they drop more since 2.0.3, then proceeds to just confirm that every single one of them will be in the rotation sometime in the future, not everyone watches these videos and thus doesn't know they drop even less after 2.0.3. Hell, even I think he's lying with saying they drop less than before cause the amount of mythic drops i've seen since has been so much higher. But maybe that's just my biased opinion, because I hated the lootrun update from the start. Suddenly my loot bonus set just got worthless, then the drops were insanely busted and fucked with the economy. I know it sounds strange but I hate that the update forced the first skill check onto the game, every other content piece is easily beatable even though you are bad at the game and you could lootrun before and be very bad, cause there was literally no challenge in lootrunning, you just needed to stay consistent and have luck, now you need the meta gear and skill to achieve runs that consistently give you mythics, else.... tough luck buddy.

The mythic rates is a true statistic, the graph in the video is from their systems. But it shows mythics generated *per endgame player*. So it's more mythics now because there are more players, but average per player is the same/lower than before the update
