    Will probably get that gas treatment done. My 2017 platinum has 107,000 on it and I have noticed over time that hesitation that you were speaking of. Also not getting as many miles to a tank as I use to. Down to about 370 miles to tank. You know how time goes by, but could have swore I was getting low to mid 400 to a tank. I am lifted with 3" ready lit or what some call a leveling kit. I know what you mean about sticker shock. Looked into getting spark plugs changed and got quoted 560.oo at dealership. Not doing that !! Anyways, thanks for sharing Andy. Miss your tundra posts man. Oh! Iam getting hard start issues and finding out that it is E85 related. Yours E85? HEARD THAT GAS COMPANies change their fuel mixture during summer and winter months and it takes a toll on E85 trucks. The hard start fix is running non ethanol fuel during winter. This is the first... well I filled up at half tank with non ethanol and start ups on the cold mornings seems to be better. On empty now so Will be filling up in the morning. Thanks again and will probably get that gas treatment next oil change.

    Damn, that’s a painful bill brother. I need to do the brake fluid myself.. I’ll likely do it around January… I have 28k on my 18… I need to have my ac checked… sometimes it won’t activate once I turn it on… it’s not the blinking ac button I’ve seen people have. It will then turn on maybe after 20 min or so driving. Aggravates me to no end when it happens. The thing that’s annoying is they make you pay for the diagnostic then see if it’s a warranty issue 😂… so I gotta do that come September… I’m paying off a couple of toys 🔫 and some custom knives and leather I just got in 😂👊🏾🤘🏾 be safe and blessings brougham

    Great vid brother i own a 2020 tundra with 275/65r20 cooper rugged trek so i have two questions, one comment... how much air pressure do u have ur tires at for 35's cuz i found the oversize tire formula for proper air pressure and does the tonneau cover really work adding to mpg....if u have a chance i recommend Barrymans B12 fuel injection cleaner on ur truck cuz i was a faithful STP cleaner but not no more....looking forward for updates on the injection cleaner....have a blessed day

    Walmart does the same and it cost $80-90 but they say don’t do it on Toyota as it make it idle rough so I didn’t do it. But it’s about 45min treatment where they put treatment in the fuel rail. They sell the device on Amazon for $90. Let me know if anyone did it at Walmart and any issue after. I do now see this video I give it a try next time but it’s my 3rd car so I don’t put much miles so it maybe a while for next oils change and fuel cleaning.

    You can use ATS Carbon clean. Excellent fuel cleaner. I'm guessing you don't care to change your own brakes. I try to do my own brakes and rotors, fairly simple and I just like doing it. But keep in mind ATS Carbon cleaner. Stay safe brother.

    I have changed several brakes on my other vehicles but I have most of the stuff done on this truck at the dealership. That way if I ever go to sell it I can pull up a CARFAX and it has a complete history of everything done to the truck. Something worth 15-20k I’d do it myself something worth almost 40k or more I want to be able to show the history.

    Have you ever tried the Italian Tune. They said that will clean out the carbon and make your truck run better. Put the pedal to the metal and blow it out. Try it and see if that helps.Scotty Kilmer recommends it. I have done it and it does help

    My 2010 Crewmax 5.7L 4x4 currently has a 123k miles, at 75k I did a major service, drain/filled trans, replaced ALL the fluids. Replaced, Spark Plugs, Radiator Hoses, Belt, Tensioner and Water Pump and Brakes. Local shop did all the work. I supplied some of the parts. Regarding Fuel Treatment, Gumout or SeaFoam you have to shock it, double the dose you won’t hurt the engine. Do it 2-3 times per year.. My truck has been awesome, I’ll never sell it.

    I really don’t buy into what your dealer said about the “deep cleaning”. Using top tier fuel will keep you clean. Use can use generic fuel once in a while, but most name brand fuel companies are labeled top tier which means they got lots of good detergents in the fuel. Using a top shelf synthetic oil will have less burn-off than cheaper oils, so less carbon build-up and saving wear on the CAT system. Most pour in the tank fuel treatments will do a good job with cleaning. You can clean your mass air sensor in less then 5 mins and that will help a lot.

  • @gearrunner

    @gearrunner

    6 ай бұрын

    Did you watch the end of the video to see the results. They were real. I have also cleaned mass air sensors and them go out. So if I was going to do that I would definitely let the dealer do where they were liable for it. Those are very expensive

    I can and have done it all before, I take my truck to the dealership so it all shows up on a Carfax. That way when I go to sell my truck it has a ton of service records with it. I’ll pay way more for a vehicle that I have all the service records for than I will one I have to take someone’s word that they did it at home.
