_"Lots of nice ventilation holes, so the mouse isn't all stressed. Unfortunately, it's a non-native species..."_ Okay, *NOW* the mouse is stressed.
Never seen an owl taking a bath before. Pretty neat! 👍👍👍

That was fun, seeing the owl bathe in the pond.
I love seeing the wildlife at the end! An owl taking a bath! Wow!
Nice trap, good review, LOVED the owl footage
The owl bathing was a cool surprise!
that baby mouse was cute. I though that deer was going to chomp the mouse for half a second lol

I saw a video of a deer chomping on human rib bones. The body was set out for forensic class
We have a big chubby robin that we call “Fat Robin” that comes and splashes around and flaps her wings in our two-tiered stone fountain; she’s come by a few times this spring and is disappointed the fountain’s not on yet; we don’t usually turn it on until May. I thought of that when I saw the owl splashing around in the beaver dam.
I like when the opossum gets a meal
I love seeing that much wildlife out there. You're very lucky Shawn. Nice place.
I love the new wildlife footage you put at the end now. I loved the footage of the owl taking a bath! I’ve never seen one do that before and I watch a lot of trail cam footage.
That baby mouse look exactly like one I know... named Mickey.. 🐭
That owl taking a bath was quite dope

Underrated comment 🤣
Was that a beaver that swam up right at the end?
The deer looks like he thinks about eating mouse, looks around to see if he's watched.
Thought for a minute it wasn't going to trip...
Hey, u don’t need an owl decoy anymore. You got the real thing!
WOW, the end of your videos are unexpected gold. Maybe post them a shorts. I never knew owls bathed.
Me: hears “non-native species” Also me: 😐🙂😀😈
Hey, was that a doe, a deer, a female deer?
A baby mouse literally stepped on a sticky trap when I opened this video. Sorry little guy, but there's too many of you now.
The pet mice don't try to run off screen
Cool enjoyed the video . The owl was a big plus also.
When we get to see the activity at the beaver dam I know it will bet worth watching all the way through.
Thats a very cool trap. Well done to the designer!
The baby mouse hasn't learnt yet to poop all around.
If I ever fall in a trap and hear: “this us a non-native species,” I will prepare to be humanely dispatched.
Still love that dip and slide mouse trap bucket top got 4 in one night in the kitchen 😅
The green version has now caught 5 mice, one was a baby, just yesterday morning. One of the mice we think was sick, it died soon after I found it in the morning. (it may've been caught during the night). We don't use any poison and that mouse had diarrea twice. I highly recommend one that has no holes on the bottom. The ones we have dont and thank goodness.
I really like that design.
Awesome thanks 👍
It is a great trap. But, what about taking the mouse out? I don't want to touch them, but if you open the main door, the mouse must go under your fingers???!!! YUK!
i have one of those in my workshop, and the mice only walk around it. had it set for a month with a cam on it but no luck.
Do you set out a salt lick for the deer?
A bathing owl!
The cute invasive mouse snack is undone, long live the mouse snack!
I was like was that a mouse or baby rat in the trap @2:54
What is the best way to humanly dispatch mice??
I was wondering if that deer would be going off its diet.
Good thing he eliminated that house mouse. Now there won't be any more...
You should showcase all of your mouse traps
Im so glad all these traps are animal friendly
I have a couple of those I keep at the back door just in case a mouse slips in. You're right they are made of cheap plastic, but the mice don't normally stay in them too long. One of mine is blue and the other is orange. The orange one is the only one ti catch mice and I have no idea why,
You're trying to create deer omnivores! 😱
Good little trap
I wear camo and get these creeps with a bb night vision 😊
Shawn Woods as a Mouse Midwife and Executioner all in the same Vid!!! 😆 ROTFLMAO!
hey why dont you do a VS mouse trap series.. like put 2 mouse trap in a barn and see which one will trap most mouse and the easiest for mouse to access...
Pogo for the win !
It may be able to catch baby sea monkeys too.
Bath day "FRIDAY "....
JEEZ!! $17 for one?
To bad the Owl didn't get it before the opossum did, it was COOL that the Owl took a bath and the beaver show up
Hi Shawn, I've been wondering: how do you humanely dispatch the non-native mice?

I keep hearing I’m gonna dispatch of it humanely and then it cuts out and we can’t see. Possibly a hammer to the head?
Who, ate that mouse.
You need to start another channel of what is using the beaver dam. Possibly live.
HAPPY RAT TRAP FRIDAY!
Nice trap. If you wouldn't mind, could you please explain how you put a mouse down humanely. Thank you.

Nitrogen would probably be kinder. Don’t even feel out of breath. Just fall asleep, and then it’s too late.
I have designed a mousetrap that uses just a few grams of printing filament and I have made the design open source and free for everybody to use how do I share this with you

A beaver
The most horrifying words a mouse never wants to hear from Shawn is non native species not a part of the ecosystem.
I got this and it doesn't work. My mice are just too smart, I watched them through the camera and they looked at it and laughed at me. They don't go in, no matter what. They only eat the food bait at the door, but don't walk over the plank. 🐀🐀
Say what you will - but mice LEARN. Caught several using glue pads, which they now AVOID - This demonstrates a level of intelligence that rivals most humans I know - MYSELF included - we are DOOMED

Whenever I hear the words "non-native species" on Shawn's channel that's music to my ears.
Why does this guy sound like @Cameron Niemela
Do you name your mice
Neat
I'm worried about the plastic. Leave it out too long and they'll chew through. Like it though.
@enb3810

They have to have a place to start chewing, I don't see one. Maybe they'll chew the sear where the door catches

How easy is this to clean? These traps get filled with mouse piss and sh*t pretty quickly
Do skin walker traps
As always Shawn, gloves Shawn, gloves. Protect yourself and your family. Wonder if my name calling stalker will be along soon.

Same way of sentences to 😮😮 eeeeeeeeerrryy
I'm not an activist or something like that, but when does a species stop being considered invasive? Because most of species of any animal or living being are not "native" at some point. I think those mice have predators too, and I don't know if they reproduce a lot faster than the native mice. I have been a suscriber of Shawn's for some years, but I don't really think that is a good argument. I don't care if those mice are being unfairly killed, but I'd like a clarification about that. Or is it because a local law?

Usually once something evolves to eat it en masse, such that it is eaten at least at the same rate it reproduces, and the population is kept at the level where it isn’t pushing out what was there before it.
Well, I see you avoided to identify the company and country that made this trap, were you asked to avoid telling us or did you just forget? I doubt you forgot, you always did.
Build a better Mouse Trap, and the World will beat a path to your door.
A bathing owl!
