I'm pretty sure the issue isn't the use of "Trans" it's probably the biological essentialism that said that Women are defined by having a "birth canal". That's probably the eyebrow raiser, not the widely accepted and respected suffix used for Transpeople.

@@JankeyTeethsif a woman is not an adult human female or a stereotype or a role. Then what is a woman? The usual response is someone who feels like a woman. But what are they feeling like? The clearest answer is a stereotype that they identify with and are emulating. What is it to not feel like a man? If the stereotype of a man or the gender role isnt valid then what is a man or a woman?

@@JankeyTeethsIt is sad we live in a society that dismisses biological facts. Women ARE defined as having a birth canal, and that raises eyebrows? Smh. So many trans women are demanding respect while being disrespectful to those that are biologically female. Hypocritical. I have a transgender son. Thank God he has a good head on his shoulders. He would never try to suggest that he is a "real man". He has learned to love himself enough that he does not need confirmation from others. He's more than just a 'gender'. A shame that others can't see past that.

Trans women made a lane for themselves and fought hard for it. They know the value of a woman. Only women can give birth. What is disrespectful is… how hard this new generation is trying to erase women. To reduce our value as birthing persons/cis and chest feeder. Women represent softness, strength, warmth and beauty. A man can try to replace us. They will never be us. No amount of surgeries can make a man a woman. A man cannot have a child. No man can be a woman nor a woman be a man. Loving the body you are in is first. If one does not resonate with their birth, then create a lane for yourself, without disrespecting others while doing it. Don’t try to erase women. We were taught you respect those who respect you. If there is no respect you have nothing!

I think the difference was these were men that knew they were men, but admired women. They loved to dress and act as women, but it came from a place of admiration and respect. They also lived in reality. This new breed of trannies isn't grounded. They seem to believe they are women, and if they put on enough make up and get enough surgery, that they are rightfully women. Many also seem to believe this craziness of gender being a social construct. No, it's not. We are one or the other. All the window dressing in the world can't turn a door into a window.

The histrionic trans activists who find "transphobia" everywhere have psychological issues that are not inherent in being LGB or T. That's why it's important for sane members of those groups to make themselves known. It's ironic that the reasonable trans and homosexual people who are most likely to break down prejudices against LGBT++ are the ones that the woke ninnies treat like traitors. It looks to me that those ninnies see *reason and reality* as their enemy. If reason and reality are your enemies, you can't win.

@@missmaddox There definitely are people out and about that think like this, I'm not saying there isn't. Maybe it just depends on the age group you interact with most, maybe? You're correct, it wasn't fair to make it sound like it's all bogus or rare. That said though, my friends are mostly older. The youngest being a year or two shy of 30 years old. They've been through and dealt with things these newer generations would blow a head gasket if they encountered themselves. Not saying they should have to encounter it but at the same time if you haven't encountered it you really don't understand what the movement is truly about. I should of phrased that more along the lines of "The people in the community that I know do not think or act like this". They just want to be treated as human beings, not looked at like they've got 2 heads, not treated like a stain on the earth and they want to be left alone. The things on the internet are amplified big time and it tends to drown out the fact that people are people having their own human experience. We don't all have to be the same, have to be put in a box or labeled. We are just us. I sound so old but the newer generations are hell bent on everyone being the same person, thinking the same, dressing the same, wanting the same and doing the same. The lack of individuality while simultaneously preaching the importance of being different is the most mind boggling thing to me. I just don't want to see the achievements of my dear friends completely undone by this weird radical thing that's happening right now. Maybe I'm wrong, I don't know. I just hope most people of the world decide to learn about things themselves, meet and talk to real people instead of only making their choices and deciding what they believe based on wild videos on the internet. Then find common ground instead of pulling people apart faster than was ever possible in the past.

Exactly, they weren't groomed, and do not like being included in the LGBTQ group, because they are NOT kids trying to get attention. The older generation didn't even get their surgeries until their later years, and in many cases, already had a spouse and children. There is an experiment going on right now with children to see what will happen down the road because of all of this. Mind games. Physicists don't talk young people into going through with this. I have a great life long friend who made the change in their 40s, and is now in their 60s. Yes, they are very sick from changing their hormones, and will be for the rest of their life, but they also can't even listen to what is going on now with grooming, and trying to get attention. 😢

It means I'm recognizing you as a person, the experiences you have had, the identity that surrounds you, and what made you your wonderful self today. That's it. I see the bridge where we meet and cross together today, but understand that the paths we took to reach it are not the same. Both paths are valid because they lead to the same place, even if they are fraught with different experiences and obstacles. I feel it's a disservice to everyone to fail to recognize and appreciate the strength involved to overcome different challenges in life 🫤

you are right, but maybe this whole controversy revolves around everyday gender routine: if you are a trans-woman and outside your home something or someone tells men and women to stand in two different rows, or enter through different doors, trans-women will always choose to be on the women's side, they are trans-women being women and being treated as women, not as trans-women specifically, and thats ok. it is not necessary to use the label "trans" all the time, such as: "hey trans-girl how are you!", "welcome trans-miss", "trans-lady, it's your turn". Therefore the specific distinction will only be taken into account in specific cases where they have relevance, such as intimate relationships and in medicine, for obvious reasons.

We're not gonna get anywhere without some respect for each other.

Why are YOU feeling validated when a person says "mother" nature? Do you KNOW what "mother" nature does in her freetime? Deleting infants for fun (just like women are the single biggest baby killer demographic, even without abortion). Besides that, the ego level behind your statement is really mind blowing. In the old days, if you were trans, you sought out trans people to learn from. Now you seek out a college-indoctrinated schoolteacher with a book, who doesn't know ish about the trans experience. Trans "moms" are notorious about toughening you up and laying down some harsh reality. "You have a dicq, you're still a man, your whole life is going to be a struggle to be who you want to be." The wokey who doesn't give a crap about you feeds you nothing but garbage. "Oh, honey, you're _already_ as much a woman as the woman who pushed you out of her vagina. Your penis is kind of a vagina, anyway!" Trans people need truth and honestly, not this BS.
