This Tram Snakes through A Medieval City Center: Ghent Tram 🇧🇪 🚋 (Gentse Tram) | Urban Transport #4

The tram of Ghent connects major locations in the city by finding its way through the medieval city center. Operated by two types of Bombardier trams, it forms the backbone of transport at this popular city trip destination and student city.
This video is the 4th episode of the series Transport, which describes various public transport networks (for now in Europe).

*Sidenote 1: At the time of filming, Line 1 and Line 4 were using slightly different routes due to construction works. This is why you see "Brugsepoort" and "Ledeberg" on line 4, while line 1 has "UZ".
*Sidenote 2: The ridership section is left out due to a lack of reliable data, as it was not available through the means of Annual Reports / Published of De Lijn, Eurostat, or the Belgian Statistics Department.

Underrated channel. As someone who takes the tram in Ghent a lot, this video was interesting and refreshing to see.

I suggest you could do for the Prima Aprilis (April Fools day) a viedo about the tram "network" at the openluchtmuseum in Arnhem, or Perhaps the Museumtramlijn in Amsterdam and Amstelveen 😂

I'm sure the elderly, handicapped people, and wheelchair users don't. I can't count the times I had to, when I was a student, help old ladies, or people with buggies, strollers, crutches, etc onto those annoying things. The doors were way too narrow and the floors way to high off the ground with very steep steps. No thanks. I far prefer the modern ones.
