I managed the shiny Aipom just before last rocket takeover so of course I had to build it with this season's Astonish buff. Shadow shiny Ambipom was a lot of fun to run in GL but definitely hard to get wins with.

I tried my shiny shadow ambipom in the beginning of the season with the re-buff Astonish and I can also safely recommend to not use this pokemon lol. Hyperbeams do hit like a truck though.

Astonish buff was the most based move change this season and nothing can sway my opinion

XL Licky also has EQ and Solar Beam, it has a strange but fun niche in the UL meta. Health management is huge with that thing. Knowing how to use a little health to get a lot of mileage is necessary.

I feel like Return would be better on Ambipom, but even so it really needs another charge move that's a little bit cheaper.

The phrase "Charge attack Priority" is not something I can get used to. I prefer "CMP tie" even though I don't know what it means 😂
