This train terminates at Alvalade | Metro de Lisboa

Between the 15th and 26th of April, Alvalade station will once again be a terminal for Lisbon Metro trains. The works for the Circular Line forced the circulation to be cut off from this station, in order to make the necessary changes to the line.
In these days, it was possible to see trains finishing services again, just like when it was inaugurated.

Alvalade (VD)
Inaugurated in 1972, this station was designed by the architect Dinis Gomes and contains works of art by the famous artist Maria Keil. In 2006, the expansion of the boarding platforms and the construction of a second atrium were concluded.
This is a station with several unique features:
Three lines for two platforms, which also only exists in Cais do Sodré.
Originally, this station, then terminal, had a small workshop where basic maintenance was carried out on some Lisbon Metro trains.
Currently, on one of the guard lines, an energy generator wagon is parked, which is not used, but is unique in the Lisbon Metro.
// Accessibility
The station is accessible via three elevators that give access from the street to the platforms and has the characteristic of using a ramp to access the atrium, already in the basement. The station has audible and visual warnings. There is tactile pavement on the boarding platforms.
