Good Works Tractors is happy to be sponsored by Rim Guard Solutions! This is perhaps the most well-known ballast brand on the market today. Rim Guard goes right inside your tires, so it's out of the way, it doesn't freeze, and doesn't corrode. It's made from natural materials, so it's safe around livestock and pets if it spills out. Rim Guard liquid ballast adds more weight to the back side of your tractor improving stability, loader performance, and power to the ground. Find your closest dealer at bit.ly/3d0whX0

I bought my Kioti almost 3 years ago and my buddy bought the equivalent size john deere just about the same time. I haven't had a single issue or problem with my kioti and my buddy has had his deere back in the shop twice now for three different issue. Plus he had some storm damage that needed cleaned up and my kioti would out lift his deere every time. I always joke with him about how I bet he is glad there are a lot of deere service centers since he needs them all the time..lol..

When you are on the same side as the Church of Scientology, you’ve trucked up to say the least. I won’t buy a green tractor because of their lies and disgraceful behavior towards farmers who are just trying to repair their tractors. I was looking at Kubota but the hydraulic pump and capability of the Kioti has caused me to visit the Kioti dealer.

Agreed. It used to be that Deere was the best for the most part…. So they earned their extra cost. No more … now it’s cheaper aluminum two speed transmissions.. plastic body/hood , smaller lift cylinders, etc. I would suspect that Deere purchases ptheir parts cheaper than most manufactures … simply because of volume , If nothing else. So … Deere just has greater mark-up. I won’t buy another Deere. …

I have a CX2510 HST, no cab, and have over 200 hours on it in about a year and a half. What it can do for its size and maneuverability continues to make me happy I bought it. With loaded tires (Rim Guard) and rear ballast, it *can* lift somewhere about 1000 lbs palletized and evenly distributed on forks, but must keep it low, slow, and on the level (requires extreme caution). Loader technique is impotant to master for bulky and heavy things like rock or wet dirt. It handles a grapple very well, larger logs handle better with at least a box on the back for ballast. Yes, it has capacity limitations and at 25 HP, it must be in a low gear and slow going up a hill towing or under heavy load, but it can do it. When I feel like it comes up short (and it does), I remind myself I would need a much bigger machine and have to live all the time with more than I need most of the time. Sometimes I experience those limits as lack traction, slower speed under load, or with the loader when I wish I could lift a full ton on a pallet. But, those are true limitations, just known constraints, because it wasn't designed to be more than it is. That said, it does exceed slightly its paper specs. It's a real workhorse, tiny but stout and very capable, period.

Man, you're not kidding about the bucket strength! I had 50 ton of 6-inch (a lot were as big as 12 inch) rip rap dumped in a pile last week. I used it to fill washouts on the edge of a 32 acre field. I rammed that loader bucket hundreda of times into the bottom of that rock pole with my Kioti CK4010SE while moving all that riprap. Not ONE dent or bend ANYWHERE on that 66 inch bucket!

5 years ago i researched tractors for a snow plow company. I looked at deer, Kubota, tym and Mahindra. Looked at the 40hp series. Deer had nothing available for at least a year. Kubota dealer didn't even let me sit in one, (and got a mechanic to answe questions -who was annoyed at being interrupted). TYM dealer took lots of time to answer questions and handed me the keys to one to take for a spin. Mahindra dealer did as well. TYM and Mahindra were equally priced, significantly less than Deer or Kubota. Just this year upgrading to the 60 hp. Similarly specs on deer and Mahindra. 30k difference. And the dealer support from Mahindra has been phenomenal!

I own a CX2510 cab and did a lot of research before buying over a 2025r. There are couple things to correct on your review. The engine is the exact same 3A165 100ci 3 cylinder as the CK2610/CK2620 model. No idea why the manual says 87ci. It has the 100ci engine. The FEL hoses are on backward on yours. Flip them around where the 90s are up top to solve the low ground clearance issue. The ROPs model has better hose routing and can replace these hoses too.

I pointed this out to my dealer (not a comedian like the guy in this video who doesn't know a clutch pedal from a brake pedal) right away before buying my Cx2510, he explained sometimes the factory tends to reverse the 90 degree elbow end of the quick connects to the loader with the straight ends, and fixed it during my pre-sale pm. Then they are tucked up high nice and tight. Check out Google images for the right side of the Cx with loader and some are correct and some are wrong. This joker had not clue about that but still wants you to buy a $30,000 tractor from his dealership. yeah, right.

I’m impressed. I have a 2925R. This all sounds better. It looks goofy with the cab and that cab is brutally hot in the spring through fall on warm to hot days. That increased lift height and capability is a nice feature as well. We run it as the yard tractor and it does mini round bales to 27”. There’s enough power & speed to meet our needs there. We also have a 3039R as well so it is used when the other can’t do the job. We like them, we have run very large green machines before selling the ranch/farm before retiring and selling out. It’s what we had & know. The dealership treats us pretty good still, but I have looked at a couple of low hour used Kiyotis lately and one is really nice, with about 800 hours and not a scratch. It’s a DK5010,,,,, even more Hp than the 3 series we have but about the same $$$ brand new. This one is a couple of years old and pulled a mower conditioner, hay rake, small baler, loader, flail mower,,,,, it did it all. We will get the accessories as well. As a package it adds up, but hard to beat lightly used prices!! As you know! 😊😊

I am a retired infantry officer and wether on foot, in my APC, Stryker or hanging down a parachute, you come to think that feeling the sun, rain or snow on your face is a necessity. Bought the bucket, the grapple and a gradebox for it, and extra back weight. Very impressed so far. Looking forward for the coming winter here north of Quebec city. Should be lots of fun.

I use my radio. I don’t prefer ear buds or headphones as they greatly reduce your ability to maintain awareness of machine noise. I grew up on a farm and my dad always taught me to become familiar with the noises the machinery makes when it is working properly and he said the instant something doesn’t sound like it normally does, that’s the time to stop and investigate. I’m afraid with headphones and / or earbuds I’m missing ambient sounds.

Then I recently decided we needed a tractor because we moved to the country. And my research began. Naturally, it started at JD and Kubota. But the pricing made me look elsewhere. I wasn't even much aware about Kioti. So we went to a dealer. Was thinking CX or CK (hope I got those letters right). Ended up buying a DX. Still under 10 hours, but really enjoying it so far! I believe the reason the john deere 4066 does not have the gas shock on the right hand door is because deere doesn't really want you getting in and out that way. When I get in or out on the right side, sadly, my leg usually bumps the loader joystick ,and that could be dangerous. I didn't say Deere had a good reason ,but my guess is that's it .

I’ve touted my Kioti CK in a few of your videos. Glad to see you’ve finally seen the light of the better orange. What’s with all this armrest stuff? I’ve driven hundreds of hours on my old Case 235 and almost 600 hours on my CK. If I want armrests, I’ll sit back in my easy chair chllin’ with a cool one.

My pretty much identical bobcat ct2535 also comes with heat and ac in the weight class and price point. The Kioti across the street was my 2nd choice, only went due to dealer support in my area. Both good machines for the acre owner or small hobbiest.

We bought some land and it has some steep mowing (2-3acres of 15-25 degree hills), and a long paved driveway to plow. We plan to try and farm it some day but for now have to keep the land under control. Multiple people have told me ventrac, but seeing prices on those makes my eyes bulge. I can't finance a ton, maybe 20-25k max. We're learning as we go and I know nothing about managing my land other than mowing, grew up a city boy and could use some suggestions

That Kioti factory cab is a big step up over the aftermarket built for kubota bx Curtis cab, which is still a great cab for the size. In any surveys I’ve gotten from kubota my 2 suggestions are a “position control” 3 pt setup, and a factory cab….which is actually available on the European variant the bx231

I’m a Deere guy and I have to say that’s a impressive little tractor, I would add to the AC in that tractor running a 60” mower on top of the AC that not enough horsepower to do it on hilly terrain, I had a 4710 Deere and upgraded to a 4720 and was told when the put the cab on they needed more horsepower to run the AC compressor so I would assume the same theory applies here, that tractor looks like it was used for snow removal with corrosion on 3 point arms and levers on bucket release, plus a plug on the back for salt spreader power

Looks like telescopic link arms are an option on the 3 point arms (assume this means the ends of the arms). They do not mention telescopic stabilizers as an option. But the armrests are standard on the CX, while they are optional on some of the larger models (CK & DK models), not sure why there aren't standard on ALL of the models, especially with CABS!! Anyways, have a good one!!👍

This is an enticing combination. It could do everything i do with my old Kubotas, but in air conditioned comfort! The main downside I see for myself is that i do occasionally put my tractors through some silly areas where the cab would be a constant worry (tree branches, etc). For whatever reason, when our head is out in the breeze we're pretty aware of when things are going to hit it, but if you put a cab around it i feel like we get a lot worse at noticing that some contact is about to happen.. Anyway, great vid, keep it up!

Even as a born & raised green tractor guy, the Korean tractor and equipment companies have some promise and some well thought out designs and features. I think Kioti has more market share and has been around in the US longer than any of the others and I like this model quite a bit. There’s only one thing that gives me pause with Kioti and that’s the dealer network. Kubota and Deere both have two dealers that I pass close to on a regular basis. The Kioti dealer is 30 miles from me and the hours make it so that I could only get there on a Saturday morning. Unless I move closer to that dealer or they open a branch closer to me, it leave Kioti out of consideration . . . for now.

I'm finding dealer support is not a real thing anymore. I've currently got a JD machine that needs a leak fixed under warranty. Two different JD dealers near me. It's one month before I can get in to one of them, two months before I cand get into the other. My JCB tracksteer has been down for over 3 weeks now and still hasn't been looked at. Another warranty issue. I have stories on just about every brand of dealer around me. Perhaps it's unreasonable of me to expect equipment to be fixed faster than that.

Unlimited parts? How come they have to order parts every time I need a machine serviced? On that note, what good is having a dealer every 50 miles (I have two dealers within 25 miles) when I can't get in for two months? How's that reliability and service for ya? What do deep roots have to do with anything? They charge way more for less capability than every other tractor brand on the planet.
