I like it alot but its 2 small and too expensive. When you get where you are going, you have to have a tent the stand up kind, with legs and a roof. If you want to even make a sandwich or any thing like sit down your going to have to bring folding chairs etc...I have looked at these and they look like a lot of work , unless your going to park it in your yard for a extra sleeping area for guests ( I would go to a camp ground and check out the people camping) SEE HOW THEY LIKE IT.

That’s why I spend 90$ to 100$ a night at a Holiday Inn Express. I know what I’m getting either way, job related packages get delivered there, staff know me by name (which means leeway with mass deliveries), and less likelihood of my stuff (truck and camper) getting messed with while just just moving along.

Just out of curiosity, when did you buy yours? I've been kinda shopping around for quite some time and just in general they've been stupid expensive. I'm thinking about checking into 'previously owned' ones. Then it's dealer vs private seller...they each have pro's & cons.

you could buy an already converted short bus/ cargo van ( with furniture , solar power, kitchen, and a bathroom) for the price of one of these . prices for already converted buses/vans in my area average around 14-18.5k . Also a basic conversion including material ,and the cost of the bus/cargo van would still be less than 20k , again based off of the prices in my area.

With that space, might as well just sleep in the car. At least my feet won't get cold.

I lived in a 36 foot trailer for years and had every convenience. And I only paid $35,000 for it. I will never pay $20,000 for a coffin to sleep in. I am building a 6 foot by 10 camper right now and it will weigh less than 500 pounds and cost only $2500 total. I’m single now and I can live full time in that size camper.

I think I'm with the comments section. A minivan can have a bed in back, or a large van. And you don't have to worry about towing or trying to back that squirrely little thing. And even if you had a family who filled up the space of your minivan, you could still buy a ton of hotels stays with all the amenities.

When I bought my teardrop trailer in 2014, I paid about $4700 for a 4' x 8'. I enjoyed the size and convenience of it. The only difference is that this has an AC and Solar. Also, mine had a galley kitchen. Even though it's been 10 years, I can't justify a $20,000 price-tag.

"You can pick up and walk away with it", then the trailer sound like a suffering dog.

Heck no! For that price there should be AT LEAST a cassette toilet, hot plate, and TV. That is ridiculously priced.

I’ll sleep in a 4 berth caravan 6 years old off eBay for £1500… showery toilet double bed .. kitchen oven .. toe it behind my daily £500 smoke about car

Id get cold feet too for 20 grand... i spent $3500 on a full running and livable 26 ft ford coachmen with 63,000 miles and 530 hours on the generator. Yea, its 30 years old, but bigger and cheaper...and doesn't leak.

Buy a van. Mechanically repair it. Tint the windows. Build it out. Tri fold full bed soda conversion. Mini sink & kitchenette. Emergency toilet 🚽 Roof fan. Buy Bluetti (ac180) Buy solar (200watt) 12v mini fridge And then use the other $12,000 on hookers and cocaine.

If its that small, I'd probably just want to want to sleep in the back of my car

Love that he talks about the fibre glass body and alu chassis like it’s revolutionary lol. 20 grand for a fibreglass 2-man tent is daylight robbery.

Well… I spent 38K on a Happier Camper HC1… but it has a shower, toilet, sink, 2 burner stove, water heater and AC/heat… weighs 1,800 lbs and also all fiberglass. It has some design issues if you’re camping in the rain, but it’s a great little trailer… I’m thinking I’d stay away from this one though, because it’s truly a mattress in a box on wheels… 🤷‍♂️ Check out the Happier Campers, they have some cheaper than what I bought… and some more expensive ones too.

Pretty sure with 20k you can get a van that you can customize very nicely for an extra 10k little by little and have a completed stealth camper lol

Before this became a fad...I was out in Vegas with my s10 extreme looking at the tear drop campers. Dude said I can buy for extra an air mattress for 300 bucks after paying 10k for a blank canvas of a trailer. I went back home and converted my 5×8 Doolittle trailer into a camper, carpet a futon sofa that let down to a bed, a porta potty, microwave, mini fridge, 9" tv/vhs combo, surround sound and a fan...installed a small breaker box, a 6gal water heater with hot & cold water spickets on outside for a shower made with 1×1's, a tarp and a pallet to stand on. Bought the trailer for $800 bucks.😅

Let me see if I can remember what my dad would've said. "They saw you coming a mile away." No, it's not worth $20k to me. We bought Bunkhouse Trailer for $17k. It has a full kitchen, and bathroom, and sleeps 5 people who can sleep with their feet inside the camper. If you want a small camper you can find one for less than $20k.

"You can pick it up and walk away with it" Yeah you can do that with fairly heavy trailers too, just not as easily.

When I bought my teardrop I shopped around and there's no way that I would pay $20,000 for something that has less to offer overall than what I bought with more to offer

It's cute and ac is very important for Florida nights but I wouldn't even pay $10k for a shell with ac.

My friend in Ft. Myers built a slightly bigger one using a old landscaping trailer and hurricane debris. He built his under 500 dollars.

@@spike1670Did you get a Runaway Camper? Though I see they tend to cost less (can be like $5-7k for some I’ve seen) but I know they come bare inside and come in that size! But you still get so much more room than this thing and for a whole lot less. 😂

Do you know how many 3/4 star hotel rooms I can stay in??? Heat/ air, television, Shower/ toilets, comfy beds, and free breakfast! If I want to camp out- I will use my tent which is actually larger!

@@diananoonen2262 I mean its certainly not worth the price, but youre comparing 2 completely different scenarios. A camper is meant to be able and park anywhere to sleep, hotels dont allow the luxury in nature or even just on the road. The camper isnt worth the price and Im a few inches over 6 foot so that wont even fit me, but id rather choose to sleep in a tent or camper over most hotels.
