I like the idea but I think you should do a separate video instead of having it in the beginning of a new one for example you post a story on Monday and then post your reaction and comments on Wednesday and on Friday it’s a new story just my 2 cents love the content

The visual of the car stereo subtitles is really cool! I often have a hard time staying focused with audiobooks but your channel with your amazing voice acting and visuals is the only one to keep me engaged through the whole story. Keep doing what you're doing - it's great!

I like this idea. This allows everyone a good opportunity to really sit back and process. I find that a lot of questions don't come until some days after listening to the story.

for sure, i often find myself not really being able to think of many things about the story right after i record it, but if i wait a day or to to let it process i am able to.

DUDE!! I’ve been re-listening to the SWAT officer story and the Secret Prison one, the rock music and guitar stuff during the fight scenes are incredible. You did such a good job with both stories building atmosphere and really setting the mood for the fight scenes. You’re a legend ! Gonna slam beers w the homies tonight, hope you have a great weekend

Adding them would be a cool idea. None of the usual creepypasta narrators do that. Its always good to do stuff that set you apart from the usual. You already make your own music for the stories, which I have always loved. Anyway, whatever you decide we will listen. Keep up the amazing work.

I like this new idea. Not that the old way wasn’t great, but I like the idea of listener comments also being included so it’s more like a group discussion.

This story feels very… verbose? Like it feels it’s dragging itself to get across a point that could be done with much less effort and time. It’s a captivating story it’s just it feels like it’s wanting to be long rather than needing to.

Absolutely love the speed at which you’ve been putting out videos, always a highlight of my day when I see a new video pop up in my feed, keep up the amazing work man and thank you for these amazing narrations.

Wow incredible story. I think that the spirit of the woman took Adrian with her. As part of vengeance. At least that was her intention but when he burnt down the mansion I think it did something to quell her anger and that perhaps there went together not as friends but not as enemies

i like the idea of more of a community discussion about the stories!! it feels more involved and i think it’ll be really nice :)

Responding to your intro: I think the format is fine as is. I’m not always watching videos in consecutive order but I always love your commenting on the current video once it finishes and I don’t want to miss it or feel lost because I hadn’t watched a prior video that didn’t interest me. The writing in this one reminded me a lot of something Lovecraft would write, really enjoyed it! Your idea in the intro sounds like a good way to interact a bit more with the community, so safe to say I'm looking forward to seeing how youll implament the idea Thanks once again for a great narration!

Great ambient horror, it had a very nice, very slow burn. Even though it paced out slowly it comes with the horror of the idea that we may end up like the awful people that had a hand in raising us.

I just now notice the stero when you speak that is awesome, only notice this now since when i leave work i turn on a new scary story and listen to it when i drive down the mountain. Makes the drive relaxing 😌 Thank Dark Somnium!

I love these types of stories! A big reason I got into this channel years ago was the sound scape and the ambiance. As much as I love the many different styles of stories here, nothing beats the lonely atmospheric ghost stories. If you like this one, I highly recommend The Hundred Year Flood and the House of the Dead Gods.

Your thoughts at the end of the video are such a delightful highlight that make you stand out from other reading channels. It’s nice to have a pallet cleanser after listening to horror. Especially for the particularly ‘icky’ stories, it can be nice to get a little aftercare. And the new method sounds like a cool way to make that part more interactive so I’m definitely in favor of it

I’m now listening to all of your newer videos since it’s been a while. I will say every video is just amazing and makes me want to listen to more. The soft music to the sudden change of the atmosphere. Plus the sounds keep me wanting more. You truly make a story alive. I could just recognize you just from the ending outro and it’s so beautiful.

This is by far my favorite story of yours, EVER! I lost my dad 25yrs ago and mom about five years ago. I was my moms caregiver for approximately 20yrs until she passed. She was old so it ws expected but the manner in which she went was far too fast for me. I miss them both but I miss her most. She had dementia and it was hard to watch but i wouldnt have been avle to live with myself if i put her in a home. She wanted to spend her days at home and im glad i could make that a reality for her. She would have died quite a bit faster if she was placed in a home. She told me that all the time. Ive never wanted marriage or children so being her caregiver was fine with me. A lot of what has been spoken on between him and his mom really hit home for me. It moved me the point of tears. Thank you for telling this story as I believe seniors are often just discarded. We throw away our elderly family members bc its convenient for our busy lives; this practice is disgusting to me! Anyway, thank you again for this heart wrenching story.

Now imagine if the thing outside the window was a passive-aggressive heckler with the voice of Gilbert Gottfried: "NICE BED SHEETS, NERD! DID YOUR MOTHER BUY THEM FOR YOU?!"

I like that idea a lot. Really interactive with the community You've created. It seems like the mother knew about the possession and maybe even tried protesting against it but the father would not allow her to defy the "revival" of such a great man so he locked her away in an asylum with his connections. After all, who'd believe her talk of "the ghost of a family member possessing my son"? But the mom got the last laugh with her saving advice.

Yhe Voice acting and music is the best of any creepypasta narrators on YT by some distance. Amazing quality.

Interesting the creepypasta has a main root thought and the idea that hatred remains over a land has been true for centuries. Many people have died lived and a lot of hate has occurred and spirits don't leave easily. If you go to the Civil War battlefields you if you're a fool you ignore the ghosts that still walk but however, there's a feeling at the very least you feel you know they are there and rather you choose to chase ghosts and see them or not is up to you but there's something wrong in Vicksburg and you can feel it. Eventually these people and feelings will go away but only when its time for them to move on.

Sometimes the titles seem more exciting than the stories. Basically, 20 minutes of him traveling and looking at scenery. Too much flowery descriptions ruin any tension a scary story should have. Just my opinion.

Writers love adjectives, even more so than their thesaurus. Always reminds me of written smut.

I like your idea. Since most of us listen to all your stories ( as opposed to just a random one every now and then) it will be a fun way to interact and discuss them

i think the idea to include comments will be a great idea! i do enjoy interacting with your channel because unlike so many other horror channels you take the time to interact with your audience and thats just amazing! (also wow this story was amazingly done, and as always im excited to see what stories you will cover next!)

Hey man. As always, thank you for the top notch quality and great story. Please don’t change your end commentary. I like hearing your opinion of the video just as I’ve formed my own. I can also scroll through the comments (which I always do) at the end of the story. If you have time and want to discuss stories, I think an end of the month live stream where you play games or make music or do a “drinks” livestream while rounding up the month of stories with a discussion would be sick and great community involvement.
