Years, ago, I lost my home to a fire. It was completely gone within half an hour. When I was interviewed by a reporter about the fire, she interjected that what kills most people in a house fire is smoke inhalation (that I knew) but that you can only take about two full breaths of smoke before your lungs stop working.
