Arrow became one of my favorite shows ever after I passed the first two seasons. I hate myself for not having given it a chance all the way back when it was airing it’s first two seasons, but I’m glad I gave this Emerald Archer a chance and have stuck with it ever since.

It's still mediocre.

In my opinion arrow is the best show in the arrow verse not because it started it off but because of the message it brought to us the viewers about change.

Arrow seasons 1 and 2 are legitimately good pieces of television. The fact that the CW was able to produce this still astounds me to this day.

This video was the perfect way to celebrate the end of the Arrowverse this year, as well as last year being the 10th anniversary of Arrow. Great job!

One smaller aspect of the show that interested me was Arrow’s stance on killing compared to someone like Batman. Oliver has done everything he could to achieve his goals and to simply survive, even resorting to torture and murder, but overtime, as his relationship with others and the city evolves, he alters his approach and is seen more positively by the public. However, unlike Bruce, he does eventually end up killing again, both defensively and, in Batman Begins terms, like an “executioner”. However, Oliver once again stops killing after this proverbial relapse and keeps moving forward trying to defend and inspire his city as a heroic symbol rather than an murderous vigilante. This regression is key, as it shows Oliver as not always being able to live by his own rules or sticking to his beliefs when life throws one curveball after another at him, but he then recovers afterwards and doesn’t let his mistakes and failures, as well as his own doubt and despair, permanently defeat him. It’s one thing to route for a hero with unbreakable and incorruptible will, but its quite another to see a hero be beaten and broken, but still keep fighting despite their losses.

We are our worst enemy. I can feel that a lot, especially lately. One of the big moments of the show that stuck with me was in season 2 where Sebastian Blood says, "Most believe there are two types of people who go into a crucible. The ones who become stronger from the experience and survive it, and the ones who die. But there's a third type. The ones who learn to love the fire and choose to stay in their crucible because it's easier to embrace the pain when it's all you know anymore." Arrow wasn't perfect but definitely had its moments. As for media that touched me I can think of some songs and the anime Reborn, which is my profile picture even though that moment comes in the manga.

Even tho the Arrowverse was bad at times I’d like to say Arrow was the most consistent and carried it on its back seeing how it basically fell off a cliff after arrow ended in the best way possible and about every show died or was cancelled and the only reason I’m watch flash is because of arrow

Despite the many downs I've had with the Arrowverse, it had a very promising start. Oliver was exceptional as the character who started an entire universe of TV shows. I only watched Arrow seasons 1-5 once, but I remember really enjoying how they took the story and characters. Say what you will about Crisis, but it did serve as a satisfying end to Oliver's journey......Which is why I expect Flash season 9 is going to make his sacrifice meaningless. A lot of people are excited that Stephen Amell is back and I normally would be too. But after the many instances of meaningless deaths, I have a feeling they're just going to bring Oliver back, which would invalidate both Crisis and the final season of Arrow. If they butcher something so important as our main character's emotional heroic conclusion, The Flash will become everything than ruins storytelling.

One Tree Hill is a drama series that changed my life presumably Season 4 of it

Guess Arrow to Gio is what Ironman Armored Adventures is to me (though not for the same reasons), bet it’s relieving for him to talk about something that doesn’t continue to make him go insane

It was therapeutics to me

Arrow was the show that got me into DC’s characters. The first two seasons were so well written and had engaging characters. I still enjoyed the later seasons. Stephen Amell sells this version of Oliver Queen. I think a reason why this show really stuck with me is because heroes who are human with no superpowers, but still strive and rise to the challenge just hits differently. To me, it’s more inspiring and relatable. Great video! Keep it up!

I loved Arrow even when that cancer that is Felicity was around but I'm not gonna lie to me the last episode of Arrow was Season 4 ep 8 and everything else is pure fanfiction

I stuck with the entire show because it always had a special place in my heart. But when I go to rewatch it I Walt’s skip season 4, parts of season 6 and the first half of season 7. The rest of the show is really good. They also did an absolute amazing job with the final season.

You gave me goosebumps, man. Arrow season 1 (and 2) were so damn solid! Keep up the good work!

Ra’s and Talia al Ghul and other Batman characters appearing in Arrow was weird. Dinah should have been Oliver’s love interest instead of Felicity.

I loved this video, your skill has really improved sense when you started. I honestly think a CW show that is kinda good but doesn't get talked about often, is Black Lightning. Would you be open to doing a review over it? Or saying how season 3 makes no sense?

Season 5 was a masterpiece.

It was good but not as good as season 1,i just rewatched season 5 and i now see why, The fucking newbies in team arrow. They really hold the season back.

I prefer less realistic shows like Gotham and Ben 10 Omniverse but over the past few months, Arrow has changed my life too. Arrow Season 1 was cool and a vibe but as the show went on, it became less idealistic and more realistic, even by season 2. Oliver was no longer a weapon, he was a flawed person trying to do better and that never went away. He was never really rewarded, he was punished. He became an adult. And that's depressing and why I didn't like the show as much. But my life has begun to mirror it. I realize the darkness and unhappiness in my life will never leave but I can't become solemn and brooding like Batman or The Hood. I've known that for a while, I always aspired to be Batman and the traits of being well-educated I still strive towards. But now I know like Oliver I am a product of my envrionment. Not a good person, I will simply do what I can and try to learn as much as possible WHEN possible. When being the key word. I won't die a hero or impress any of my former classmates, I'm just the same as everyone else and will be forgotten or remembered by nice people. It doesn't matter and is seemingly out of my hands. Oh yeah Arrow is a great show though. My favorite part and what got me into the show were the island flashbacks. I watched a The Batman 2004 clip of Oliver on the island then remembered there was an Arrow show and wanted to see how they tackled it. It was better than I'd hoped. The old oliver with grown out hair and beard with dirt is iconic. Most memorable. The comic yellow beard green arrow is great too and the Island suit from the Flashbacks as well as the shaved clean Oliver from season 1. ALSO SEE MY REPLIES GUYS AND GALS

@@GIGio_Official I edited my comment to add more but yeah. So I totally get it. This show has been kinda hated compared to Daredevil but to me it's more interesting. Whenever I am away from my family and in my car and cannot return home but want to, I am reminded of Oliver Queen. I know you're an Arrowverse fan though. I've watched a lot of it but still never meshed with the whole realistic tone, Arrow is the one to hit the best. Flash has its moments but its too adult and soap opera when dealing with such colorful goofy villains. His relationship with Thea, Laurel and Tommy is great, I just wish we got more of it and better less realistic reveals of his secret identity. Wish we got more close scenes but i guess thats not realistic. But more nice to watch. Makes things hit harder. But i suppose no time is enough. I always revisit Thea's season 1 scenes. Although the changes to DC comic characters bug me like Huntress even though I love her, she's played fantastically as is Laurel and ztommy.

as far as a drastic shift in one's self you can look at the change that occurs when a young adult returns from military BootCamp or a military prep school. They change the way they hold themselves, and how they interact with people. A much more drastic shift occurs when a person returns from a combat zone where they see the horror of war and the repercussions on their friends and fellow servicemembers. They become very withdrawn from loved ones and the civilian population as they don't know how to express what they saw and felt while in combat. Arrow does an excellent job of this as well. I didn't start Arrow until season 3 and I still have to go back to watch those first two seasons in full, but I enjoyed the character arcs and it transforming the series into a full fledged universe where it might end now. I wish some characters were utilized more, VIXEN, while I wish some showed up, STATIC, but it was a alright run. I hope to see where we go after Flash season 9

I would highly recommend doing that for sure. Season 2 for me was the best season and season 1 is probably right behind it.

Loved this series. But I have to admit they lost me for awhile with the whole trying to put together a new team arrow. Mr. Terrific was GOD awful, ragman, and that other girl. Wild dog got better with time, but man. Plus I have to say, I was a little upset they chose early on to have oliver end up with felicity instead of the black canary, especially with the many chances they had to course correct. It made laurel last words to him in the hospital, that much more problematic.

@@GIGio_Official Yeah, it's a thing about these 22/23 episode long seasons that the crux of the main arc doesn't kick off until around that point anyway. Or at least it doesn't if you're doing it right. As we've seen with Arrow S4 and as I've seen with Buffy S5, stretching a single story across that episode count can leave it very thin or arbitrarily elongated to fit the length of the season. Ep 14 is effectively the start of that arc. It's definitely the start of Oliver properly engaging with it iirc, since that's when he finally decides to believe Diggle and when he teams up with Felicity, who's still holding all the plot info she gathered in the early season.

Early Arrow was the closest the Arrowverse ever got the Daredevil or Punisher in terms of quality writing and character development. Stephen amell’s Oliver is up there with CC as Matt Murdock and RDJ as Tony Stark. Also I highly recommend the show the last kingdom that is a show that really changed my life.

I only watched arrow after the flash was announced. I thought That it was just a lame Batman ripoff at first. So I dropped it. Then when covid struck and there was no anything. I went to Netflix and gave it another shot. And I watched up until the crossover with the flash show. Glad I gave it a second chance. But then I dropped it again at the start of season 4. 🤷🏽‍♂️. I hope you make it big. 1000000 subscribers is in your future.
