I’ve binged a lot of this series over the last couple of days. Credit to you for the perseverance. I still can’t jive with CEX and their trade in policy. Random and undervalued.

Visited insane games yesterday after your videos 😄 and managed to spend £100 on games and could of spent more. Loving this collection series!

I haven't got the new FIFA yet, I did give up on FIFA after FIFA 20 but my son got me back into it when FIFA 22 was a monthly game on ps plus

Fortnite as a physical is ‘Save the world’ mode, what Fortnite was intended to be before the free BR took off!

Incase you plan another visit, their Street shop unfortunately closed on Sunday (their location being turned into flats). But they still have their Bridgwater and Wells Stores.

I have a feeling someone at your local CEX has seen your channel and are not too enthusiastic. That company has something of a chequered reputation to put it mildly.

Can’t you send a email to like a area manager about your treatment in that store? Or don’t you want to burn your bridges completely?

am still hit and miss with cex, some price are good, so that's why i buy there. but when it comes to traded in there all over i just order 4 games online because there to far to travel to go see what there like, and its always a gamble but 1 did not come (there are 17 of it on there site but ya come not send this one) 2 came and had everything with some marks but fine overall 'cheers' but the last 1 which is also the most, case great, everything with it great, disc has a crack in the middle which is going into the disc its self know and will probable go more into it the more you take it in and out of the case and it was full of scratches all over it, bet this because it had the crack if it is hit in the buffing it would broke, so i tuck it back and said the disc is scratches and ask why it was not buffed and the guy said i bet it was not with the price to do so, until he looked at how much it was (85) and he seen the crack as well and show it to hes MG and he said we can't trade that in 😶 but its a return, in the end i return and come back a few hours later it was out and i didn't see the guys who server me so i whated to see what they had done and check the disc, it was still the same 🙄even the girl said i don't like that crack and put it to one side,

Cex is hit and miss with trades, some employees accept pretty much anything and others won't at my local store. I always try and time it so I can get the same employees every time

I used to work in a cex in northern Ireland and I find it so funny about the contrast between English stores and Irish stores because when I was there we had a fella that would of went out of his way to make sure you knew the reason why your game wasn't able to be traded in, and would ACTUALLY APOLOGISE for crappy prices for some of there better days wether that was RDR2 CoD or Fifa. So I again funny contrast in my opinion and it's funny to see that everyone just tars them with the same brush

There is also a 3rd Insane Games store in Bridgwater. They are always good for retro games

Sometimes its hard to choose Quality over Quantity when collecting games. You're quite disciplined and don't have many filler games in your collection.

I used to live in Street and loved Insane Games, so I'm glad to hear they're still going. These smaller independents care about their business and therefore they care about their customers. It's a shame because it's less common with bigger stores like CEX who are almost cerainly contributing to the demise of the smaller stores.

Should try insane games Bridgwater there good with a cex right across the way. Mt games Taunton and Weston-super-Mare are good to.

The funny thing is half these employees at Cex will go on like they’ll get credit from bosses if they act like they do which is pretty weird.

It's a power trip for them. So disappointed about where their lives have taken them that they act out of spite.

I saw Gloucester selling a PS1 Oddworld Abe's Oddysee with a massive crack on the front, I swear they don't accept them if they do?

I rarely buy disc games...... The amount i had and shelving units needed, my home looked like a gaming museum, rather than a house. So being on Series X, S and PS5..... it is so much easier personally, having all digital. However, when i did buy discs, trade in's or pretty much anything purchased from CEX, the quality was awful. It was more like a jumble sale than a shop. I lived in Brighton, then Haywards Heath..... And now moved up too Dingwall, just outside Inverness, and all 3 stores just seem like the staff couldn't give a s##t. Battered consoles, consoles that were yellow because of dirt and people smoking, broken boxes, reprinted box art...... console boxes looking like someone used them as a football. Even the discs worked, but were scratched to pieces. I understand the want for collectors, understand the retro gaming thing...... But CEX standards just seemed to have dropped to ''We will take any piece of crap and resell it at a higher rate''. Inverness has a PS5 that has been in the window for months! They want £650! for it, it has scratch marks all over. TRUST ME! PS5's aren't worth £450, because there just isn't anything exclusively for the PS5 out at the moment that the PS4 Pro won't run perfectly fine. so the fact they want that much for it in the condition it's in, says it all.

Premier Manager 98 was great!

Cex sucks! So many bad experiences with them the last couple of weeks. Rude staff and silly excuses not to take in games I was selling. I wish Gamestation was still around.

The only game you got I think was a waste was mario strikers, it is terrible. but if you enjoy it then amazing, but I'm assuming you'll get an hour play time out of it. 😂

This is making me miss Grainger Games.

Cex take the mick they wont take slightly scratch games but sold me a fast and furious umd with a deep scratch and it wont play dont make sense to me

Good pick ups, only mistake imo was WWE 2k20. The game is an absolute mess, so much so that 2K games skipped a year to make sure the next game was actually playable, meaning no WWE 2k21 exists.
