That's what I'm gonna do next time when a new girl comes into my life. She calls ill be super loud with a touch of an accent and be like " Yes, this is Jesse. I'm super charismatic, yes."

I know for a fact that shyness and social anxiety come from some kind of shame, emotional pain and codependency If you get rid of these, the nervousness and all of the inhibitions will automatically dissipate

glad you're still making these vids, was watching you and applying things maybe in 2015-2017 and a little later, but then was a black time. till now. something made me come back here again. thanks.
Julien, i see what youre saying. for me, the stiffness comes from being judged by others, getting laughed at, and made fun of. people also talk shit behind my back. i couldn't get rid of the wall that ive built, nor do i want to. i have to wear this stoic mask everywhere i go, lest i go on a berserk from getting offended by my boss and/or coworkers. at least it helps me to stay quiet and calm even when i get angry. i'm on my journey to not take myself too seriously all the time, and maybe then, i can finally break this wall. may God bless you friend.
My parents used to pay me to be quiet! 😂 Going back to my roots! My Mom was heavy handed and controlling. From my younger siblings sleeping, to being shushed through my parents' church, inside voices, then school, there was a lot of early conditioning. No more vocal constipation, for me! This is so funny and helpful! Thanks, Julien!

Hey Julien as i watch this video it doesn't express the true energy flow you emanate when watching you live! Im glad i was there to see it. My take away was 1. To let go of all the shit that has conditioned me overtime. 2. Understand the concept of " I im the group". 3. The external constipation vs the internal constipation. How to express the true you. You and Owen are the 🐐 s of social interactions. Thank you!
Julien and Owen are the only two guys who get me to click on their videos every single time they upload 🤞🏼 They’ve completely changed my life. Thank you for your hard work Julien.

Loved this video! I understand your explanations behind freeing yourself up but it would be great to hear more about how to actually implement it. Looking forward to the next one!
I've always been extremely insecure and anxious. I know this stems from childhood trauma. I drank for years to be social. In fact, without a few drinks I wouldn't even want to go out almost anywhere where I needed to mingle with other people. I'm not 7 months sober and am more stifled than ever. I want to be myself. My wife and kids see my crazy side all the time but I'm terrified by strangers. I'm binge watching your videos and have signed up for a call. Great video.

I found your videos a few days ago, and started questioning and answering myself... I realized that a friend of mine in secondary school ashamed me, humiliated me so many times, showed me everything I did wrong and told me I'd never be a man, he said I'm still a monkey. He cut my wings, he transformed me into a shy, insufficient, stifled person. He convinced me that if I were who i am, noone would want to be around me, i would look stupid, no girl would find me attractive, my family would invite me just because I'm family, and a lot of other things .. worst thing: I believed him. I don't talk to him since 9 years ago. But How the hell do I shut him the fuck up in my head?????
This was such a great speech. It was an honor to be there in person Julien, thank you. I keep thinking of pushing on the gas while also pushing on the breaks. I keep seeing myself doing that. I also keep saying "F*&$ you Wormtongue" to the apathy - it's like depression kitty, and it really works. I totally feel the thing about emotional constipation. I had a question, I wanted to ask that I didn't ask in person. You talked about being an NPC or extra in other people's life movie, so you can stand out and no one will care. When you are moving up, then you do stand out and people test and judge you. If you are moving up and other people are dopamine spiking you to make themselves feel better are there any tips on switching the script so people are inspired and influenced by you, so you don't get outcasted or put down?

I really love your videos man, I'm always eager to watch them when I get a notification that you've uploaded. My biggest takeaway from this video is that I should look within and find out what's holding me back and then finding a way to let go of that. I'm still trying to figure out what letting go means exactly. Fire content as always!

I really liked this one. Thank you!
I went through a drive through today and gave the most awkward abrupt "Hi!...." to the person working. And it was the first time that I can remember fumbling on my words and just being cool with it. No deep shame spiral thanks to your videos!

It is unlocked when anxiety is no longer there. When we have fear it blocks that ability to let our emotions run freely but we have to not fear been stifled in the first place

I'm expressive easily, can shift into charisma, but I don't enjoy being that way. I can make my own fun but it's just.... Kinda sad? Like I'd rather be alone if others aren't adding to it. What am I doing something wrong?

Most likely a sign of you "forcing it"... It should feel effortless and you should be doing it FOR YOU, not for others. Watch this: kzread.infoL_oWgtUIaNo
Its really hard to really let go, and im not really a person who seeks for help but i know i maybe should. although im getting more aware and it gets a little bit better over time. Greetings from the Netherlands :) Love how you help people. (Do you have any tips on how to help people with trauma? I have a friend and she gets pain attacks in her legs and she thinks its from a trauma but we dont know for sure. She also says she dont know how long she can handle it anymore bc its really painful. And the doctors dont know.) I really want to help her but idk how.

Hey! Let me know what you think of today's video and what were your top takeaways! 🔥
What is with feeling heavy depressions?
Wow, l needed to see this video, l have the vocal constipation and 1 spaguetti coming out! l love your work! merci beaucoup, c'etait chouette de voir votre autre video ou vous disiez que vous etiez d'un petit village de Suisse! Et les cockroaches! le film "into the wild" , l was really pissed off at the end, it was a good film all the way through except when he stupidly didn't take a wild food book with him! It seemed so stupid to me to eat berries he didn't know were good or not, so unconscious, which idiot would go in the country and eat things he hasn't eaten in large amounts? Surely it was suicide! l think the film made me angry because l believe l couldn't survive in the wild, without farm-grown vegetables and someone to kill the rabbits for me... Bonne continuation, et bravo pour votre succès mais aussi pour ces videos tres inspirantes!
I do actually, when what I have to say just doesn’t interest me and I don’t wanna make the conversation go that way I can end up having nothing to say, cus everyrhing I think of seems boring sometimes🤷♀️
Men gonna get checked if they are to loud in proportion to their size, also it’s all about diaphragm breathing (your voice have some strength to it)vs chest breathing (you gotta force sound out)
You and owen should set up a zoom meet or skype with eckhart tolle that shit would be legendary
thanks for the video! MEhh
Are y'all ready for this? It's about to go down. What you're about to witness is nothing short of incredible. Are you ready? Are you REALLY ready? *Screams real loud* I'm simply speechless. Maybe someday I can scream too. Oh wait, I think I did that last night. Am I there yet?
"HEY, HOWS IT GOING", vs "AYE" , or AH". Continue to scream while saying words, may seem better then ah,aye,or hey,. Of course people get winded, eventually the loud scream goes down and faster. VS words. What seems like, what sounds like, during words, is a lot more impressing. You can get attention from both ways but I find it funny while he's demonstrating, he's making the audience feel like the aye, or ah, isn't anything. If my AH, in a loud, long, winded voice isn't good enough for ya then that's fine. Doesn't mean like it won't give attention. Not to mention different places. At panels or such fun places it's ok to scream and be that loud. Others, not so much. If all is, just to show people, to be in a confident way, not a lot of places like and except that loud behavior. I believe lots of people are and can be loud and charismatic but, it also comes off as being rude and obnoxious and insane. When can and to be like this? Not a lot because we are forced to be low talking, we are forced to be not loud.
13:26 nice squat

Julien, request a new interview regarding the old "media scandal". It keeps coming up as a way to criticize you and I can see why, you didn't own the thing and were stiffled. You can make it right and show your true self. It will also show how wrong they were to gang on you for basically something that is done daily by many random people on the internet, they tried to bully you for going against their reality disregarding they one that we know exists, it's time to talk back.
yo vro can you be my music manager pliz. i pay it forward
Funny enough lack of self expression makes you constipated . It's how the energy works.
