We already wear whatever we want, we just don't want to show up to a job interview in comfy underwear because that's an uncomfortable situation. Not because of the underwear but because of people. Fashion is all about wearing something crazy, then it catches on because enough of society decides they approve. And usually that isn't the majority, at first. As for normalizing men to wear nail polish, I chatted with a grandpa in the grocery store who let his granddaughter paint his nails. Dude was completely chill and praised his granddaughter a lot on her painting skills. The granddaughter was the happiest kid in the block. The grandpa is her favorite participant in her tea party, grandpa is her audience whenever she wants to put up her performance. Anything crazy granddaughter wants to do grandpa is up for it. Now she loves baking and grandpa wants to teach her how to bake that’s why he was in the grocery store. Masculinity is not about having to normalize men to wear nailpolish or having them wear a skirt. It’s about showing love to your loved ones, and if you’re a girl dad it’s about dealing with your kids crazy experiments with love and care. You’re not afraid to show love to your children as a father, that’s masculinity. Masculinity means that you want to be the best version of yourself, you’re comfortable with your emotions and you’re not afraid to stand up for yourself. You know yourself better than anyone and you make your own choices. It’s about being human everyday and showing up as you. If you’re a dad then it’s about showing up for your kids not to play the dad role because you love them from the bottom of your heart. I think we should stop putting ridiculous expectations on men and just let them be them. If you’re content and happy as a man on your own and you want it that way just let it be. Enough of the judgment it’s driving me nuts.

In my opinion, just "normalize what people want to do in their own houses in their own houses and not have the internet come at them". Edit: Some people in the comments are having a full out argument. Here is what I mean. You can have sex with whoever the fuck you want, do whatever you want and be whatever you want in the privacy of you own home. Just not anything hurting or abusing minors cuz ya'll can't understand shit.

yeah, if you aren't actually hurting anyone (and anyone of any sex or gender wearing ANY clothes or cosmetics they choose is not hurting anyone) it really shouldn't be shamed. mind your own business type shit. just a dude in a dress is not a threat and the worst it will "influence" the kids is that maybe they will grow up confident in themselves. now people who are putting themselves on the internet like Dylan Mulvaney, I mean you kinda accept the chance for criticism and hate when you become a celebrity. I feel as a woman Dylan is mocking the experience of being a woman. and I have several friends who happen to be trans women and my own (soon to be) husband is effeminate and cross dresses. but yeah, if you're literally going onto a stage, no shit you're gonna get hate. if Dylan removed themselves from public life, just did their thing living a normal life, literally NOBODY would care and I would say it's fucked up to even criticize it.

People are too deep into their “us vs them” mentality to think rationally. People would rather fight over problems they made up in their mind than come together to solve actual important issues.
