Imo, the issues came about because they gave Death extreme offense when it wasn't meant to be a damage school. Its thing was defense and support given its spells many support spells (including Shadow Sentinel being the free shadow spell it received in Khrysalis) and lower-end damage, pierce compared to the hitters. Now it's running around with 200% damage and 50+ pierce while keeping its original defensive stats and abilities.

Once I'm done on my fire I wanted to do a run through of the game where I solo through literally everything in the game (obviously excluding challenge mode dungeons or dungeons where you actually literally need a team to complete the dungeon)

I play fire which is fun but it's starting to feel like my school is being left behind especially logically speaking with pins and stuff. New gear only offers offensive pins, which is great for utility schools but for a damage school why would I dual another school and use the damage on that school. Realistically dual schooling only benefits utility schools right now. utility schools are now OP and schools like storm and fire are getting left behind. Storm is kinda screwed, fire you can still get by and have lots of fun with strategy and some thinking. But in terms of being powerful school storm and fire (the two hardest hitting schools apparently), are actually becoming the weakest and least usable.

Can you do one of these for Life, Liam? PVP strat and gear specifically.

On a personal note, what should I do as I wait for help to arrive once I found all Training Point I can get so far? I've gotten to that point where my wizards will eventually gather all of the Training Points they can get.

Its so interesting because in the lore, Death is a combination of ice and storm magic. Storms identity is tied to the damage stat, and ice identity is tied to the resist stat. Which is op to combine that. I wonder if maybe a way to keep the lore friendliness and still balance the school a little they could keep the high damage and high resist but make them have horrible other stats like ice-level pierce (pierce is a fire stat and i dont think death should be like fire at all) and storm-level health. They have the strengths of ice and storm but not their weaknesses, and i think thats the main problem.

They're scared of nerfing drains. The reasonable value for these drains are around 56 base DPP(84 effective DPP; 1 below Death's 85 DPP) in order to be balanced. The outcry would be massive, understandably so. The only things they can do is reduce the heal ratio from 50% and nerf the accuracy so they don't have to nerf the damage too much.

so my pet is an old triple double. using this plus full 170 xibalba hat hunhau robe xibalba boots with hunhau athame, reaver amulet hunhau ring, reaver deck im still getting 224 with 73 res, 45 pierce (not yet optimal). wtf

And also ratbeards is ridiculous to make death have the same dmg stats as storm without making storms health the same. "But storm has a higher Dpp" ye as if storm doesn't trade accuracy and Health for this. This was established in the early developments of Wizard101 as a game. It seems like kingsisle took the concept of identity mixing and left storm behind.

How to fix PvP: remove roshammadness

Balance is the weakest damage is terrible not being able to use as many blades as other schools all the schools need to be revamped at this point

-65% chromotic weaknesses is just insane. Honestly I dont want to insult the devs but they really dont know what they are doing. Their valuation of the spells is the problem. -60% on vamp through an easy Gambit is just nuts. They should Gambit 3 weaknesses for 1 single 60% or reduce it to 45% weaknesses. They are chromotic for Fs

Crazy how fire got efreet nerfed with the one -90 but they get 2 -60s. For half the pip cost..

Why say to play the school, then bash it to the ground and say thats what ruins the game. Contradicting yourself is also apart of the problem
