I can do the adlib thing, where you just create a character and spin bullshit, but doing it so effortlessly while someone else is screaming in my ear makes it almost impossible, just cause my brain wants to process their words, and it interrupts the flow of the adlib. You should implement a lost password for the fake bank account and take hours going through the security questions and when you can’t remember them you call customer service and switch between your real voice and Edna’s voice Edit: also next time you hang up after getting the refund pretend you shut off your computer so that they have to connect all over again Edit edit: when you’re in the store pretend to run into an old friend and talk to them for 5-15 minutes with the scammer still on the phone

I love the "Gull & Bull Financial." "You can blindly trust us for life!" If the hackers took five seconds to read, they'd know it was a prank. It shows how lazy they are

It's actually so fucked when you consider what Kitboga is (very succesfully) doing to be funny should be percieved by a normal, empathic person (were it a real situation) as signs the person they're trying to scam is particularly vulnerable, elderly, potentially with dementia etc etc. Yet the scammers persist for hours and sometimes laugh as well. Disgusting from them, but makes for absolute top tier content and some level of retribution. Great channel, great work :)

at the start of lockdown I got a scam call, told them politely no thank you and hung up. he calls me back and tries again a little irritated, I tell him firmly not interested. he calls me a third time and outright calls me an idiot for not wanting free money, starts cussing me out till i lay it on my echo and ask her to play power metal, volume 10.

I guarantee you lived with your grandma at some point. You're way too good at doing grandma.

The old lady voice kit has sounds exactly like my grandmother, the rambling and not "understanding" what he wants her to do is perfect

The fact that he made it past the story of a grandmother hiding in a cardboard box from her cat for hours until she soiled herself is remarkable.

It has to be something to do with anonymity. At a certain point you have scammed enough people over the internet that it almost feels like a videogame, but with actual cash prizes, which coupled with the danger of doing something super illegal, and the power you have to control and manipulate a person, would be an insane dopamine rush. I think the point at which they start to get savage is when they're Jonesing, when they can almost taste that high and it seems only just out of reach, and they lash out at the person who's denying them their next hit.

I used to think scammers were super poor and desperate until I watched a documentary. They look completely normal, and used the money to buy cars and luxury items. Made me sick. It's the epitomy of cynicism how they scam vulnerable individuals with a straight face, even allowing themselves to get angry at the victims.

All the rambling stories and tangents over their yelling is top tier!

The people who disliked this are tech support scammers.

The scammer seemed nice and genuine in the beginning when he laughed at the old lady when she was being funny. Almost made me feel sorry for him.

My grandma talks almost exactly like that, complete with long nonsensical stories that aren't pertinent to the conversation, but she simply HAD to tell me about them because her brain managed to remember it. You even got the habit of continously talking over people trying to get her attention! Not only are her tangents not in the same ballpark, they ain't even in the same ball game... Or even the same sport! Keep up the good work!

Years ago I had to "work the phones" (working at my employer's local call center) for a few weeks every winter and spring - we had many elderly callers that would get confused and/or tell long stories (many of which were entertaining or interesting) just like Kit's character.

This would be primarily for a "joking sense". Remember. The scammer is overseas. A street cop would have no jurisdiction here.

You know what we need? We need a fleet of you. An anti-call center full of computer literate, elderly impersonating, long hauling reverse con artists. Like a room of 20-50 of them. And have them call bomb scammer call centers, and waste _all_ of their time. See who can go the longest, who can get the most angry. Make it a game, make it a charity donation to scam victims. In a united front, you will make all of them question if they should even bother being in a call center. You can even have prop people to act as angry civilians, store clerks, sons and daughters, and get up and walk over and interrupt other people in calls to ask them for random bullshit. Its like an faux-elderly LAN party of justice.

Keep running until everyone in the call center gives up. Then do another stream a week or so later bombing another center. Do this for years until every call center shuts down due to crank granny LAN parties.
