I personally think it would be cool if they just added a sandbox mode with every tower in the game so newer players could use the event towers and it would be easier for youtubers to showcase new towers

Tds is going to be so much more fun if they do that, they just need to buff certain event towers alot before doing so and give the og owners an exclusive skin. Everybody will be happy. Just imagine being able to used buffed Slasher, Commando, Frost Blaster and more and create strategies with them, sounds like fun! :D

Frost blaster should should be like a freeze minigun with 1 second freeze (with a short cooldown after thawing)

take game modes, make it so it cycles through events, like old matchmaking, and make it so you get the event towers from beating these events

Tds was my childhood so I would LOVE to try the events just one more time. But my main fear is that people will say that it needs to be harder and tds changes almost entire event.

Ngl having the ability to do remastered re-runs of older events to earn event towers would be incredible, because the game felt most rewarding to play when there’s some kind of event pass you need to fill, also this way all the hard work they put into the events their rewards won’t go to waste, of course I wouldn’t mind if entering a past event pass would be behind a paywall, and of course the original owners of event towers would get their unique skins, but I’d still like it if you were able to do the old event passes a lot more

I would recommend what TBZ did and rerelease the events to get the towers and make the events a bit more polished with the same mechanics still.

I think they should do an event redemption, where during an event like upcoming xmas event, you get a new currency that can only be obtianed by triumphing an event map then you need those to buy any event towers. They should start off selling 1-2 towers then every event they re-release more old event towers by it.

Exactly, since I've joined 2 years ago, I barely had any skill until this event so I have only Sledger, Necromancer, Jester out of all the towers. Although I played every single event that is after frost invasion. This is gonna help me a lot because I've got accelerator only now and Executioner I just had no chance to get.

If 1:55 gets added I'll be more than happy with the change, since event towers desperately needs skins I can still show off my swarmer and other event towers. I could actually see this working well but I think the towers should be all gems since they are event towers anyway. You could also make like a cycle where one event tower can be bought with gems for a week and that tower gets replaced with another one.

event towers are unique so it makes sense that they occasionally return as gamepassed

This would be great since im struggling with the new spotlight nerf in act 3 to get jester and it would be great if i could at least get the tower in some form.

I feel like people want to buy them more out of a sense of completion, rather than actually wanting it. Towers like Commando, Archer, and Slasher aren’t meta towers like they were upon release. The event towers that are actually good and “meta”, like the Gladiator, are on sale. People really want it so they can say they have it. Also, kind of an unpopular opinion probably, but this is being done for financial purposes to make more money.

I feel that they should handle event towers like Badlands, where beating a specific map with some minor changes in enemies will award you the tower. This ensures you can't just p2w it with coins and gems but require some decent standing in the game to obtain them.

Update could make them actually pay attention to event towers like frost blaster and commando, and they may get a much needed rebalance

I'm here from the future, they're going to rework them and re-release them for purchase during events. They've started already with Frost Blaster!

I have been saying this for ages, it would AMAZING if they brought back old events for these towers. It would bring back a ton of nostalgia for the OG's, while also keeping their legendary status as event only towers. As for the added skins for previous owners of the tower- I like that, but I am a bit mixed on it as well. As I would also like to see them become buyable in future for completionists. I can attend to this as I am still mad at myself for missing some, gatekeeping can be quite upsetting sometimes.

I hope this update comes with some outdated towers reworks like commando or frost blaster

I’m glad I could still be special with my gladiator which I earned during the SFOTH event. So much time has passed since then. Who still remembers old crook boss soloing everything and the likes of sentry gun or versus mode?

This would give me the opportunity to get elf camp and swarmer, the only 2 event towers I’m missing, and I’d get 2 skins for all the other ones cause I have all of their badges yippee

Would be cool that every event tower from some holiday should return in that holiday,example next christmas frost blaster sledge cyro mancer should be obtanaible via coins and gems for a limited time.Also for haloween or raster would really be cool especially for new players.And thoose players who alredy had the tower shoud ge some kind of reward.Also the toers would need to be expensive

I can stop laughing when I saw archer since I remember during the Hardcore update, it was on the shop selling for 1 coin

as an OG player who did the all the old events like SFOTH and area 51 I think this change is great. having 1/4th of the towers locked behind old events they already brought back for $$$ with gamepasses was dumb. I think its cool players can experience all this game has to offer without needing to pay real money

here's what i think: below would prob make SOME of those event towers in shop seasonal event towers will not those being frost blaster sledger slasher elf camp and toxic gunner will be seasonal gamepass instead

if they make this change i would love to something like the newe event towers being given to those who win its event and like a month later the will apper in the shop for either gems coins or as a gamepass

it would be cool for there to be a permanent way to get some of the older event towers as long as they were buffed to be more in line with the permanent towers since a lot of the event towers aren't that great. The idea of giving skins to those that already have the towers seems like a good compromise for those that already had it.

i would be so happy if i could obtain all event towers, cause out of all the events, the only towers that i dont have. are swarmer, commando, and slasher.

All the event towers should have a badge, however according to the gladiators poll saying with event this would likely mean were getting a return of the event but however they should make a different badge so that the players will not insult the ogs thinking their the og instead of the actual ogs so which makes the hardworkers fair to keep thier badge to prove their og

They should add Exclusive Skins for the People who unlocked or bought the Tower when its event was still active, so people who got the Event Tower during the Event will have something to show for it, and that they didn't just buy it from the Shop or from a Resale

If this does get added I could finally Complete My Event Tower section I only need 4 more

1:14 I mean, act 2 is technically a remaster of the whatever carnival Halloween event so we got one down

after they add 2 towers(this year or next year) it will prob take 1-1.5 years to fix commando (horrible dps value) and release entire update(or progressive small ones)

I feel like they should just bring back the event for the towers like how they keep pizza party mode, they could just put the toxic gunner tower with the reworked polluted wasteland release the modes reworked like how bad lands in polluted and pizza party are but also by doing this, they also have a reason to have to rework and buff the event towers

I think it should work like the daily skins in the shop but instead of changing daily it changes every month giving the players more time to grind gems

If they should bring back any events i think commando should come back remastered same with his boss as his boss had one unique ability to delete towers which should be added back if they bring the boss back

I would say some of all event towers will be back with all cost 20K coins or 1.8K gems like Necromancer but i think it would be good for non gamepass users

yeah what id like to see is most of those towers becoming staggeringly difficult to obtain in permanent remasters of events like polluted wastelands 2, essentially filling the content gap of level ~200+. i think below would take steps towards this as it would keep players dedicated and excited for longer, plus make the player base overall happy as long as we get some stupid little purple skull trooper type skin with towers already owned.

I like the idea but I also like the idea of the towers just being special, they are an event for a reason, sure some are really good and needed for some strategies but again, they are special they are meant to be obtained by an event. I’m fine with the gamepasses tho but I just think they would lose the value they have

Heres an alternative to locking them behind the event permanatly, make it so if you have the badge you get an exclusive skin for that tower, the people who bother beating the event get the tower early and get an exclusive skin for it, there by keeping the value while still making it much less frustrating to new players who never got the chance to play the event but want "that cool tower"

They should have events drop event coins and after beaten a event you get a key or event currency to unlock a event tower and stil get the new event tower if you beat the event for example if its a Christmas event you can get frost blaster, elf camp, and cyro mancer and can be brought with event coins or keys taht you get per win and you could buy like elf camp for 3 keys or event coins plus nee event tower on first win

Personally i think is great idea but i think well be: 1.-All event tower comeback in a xmas event with which would be extremely difficult but it lets you choose the tower do you want or random tower event 2.-A boss Rush with all bosses of event Personally I think it's a great idea but I think it will be this way 3.- Daily Week Tower with coins or gems depending the rare (I think it's a good time to implement the rarities of each event towers in the game)

I cool idea I have for a amazing event is going thur all the previous events one by one not fighting all of the bosses but like fighting a flashback. And after going thur all the events you get sucked Thur a portal and you have to fight the final boss Lord Exo. When you beat him you don't kill him you send him back into the code so he doesn't come back again. And during this even you can buy all of the previous event towers and a new one for this event.

I don’t see this as a problem at all, I actually like this idea, as long as each tower is reworked and buffed properly.

i'm pretty sure that if a event tower releases it would cost gems, and the exact value would depend on which tower we are talking, by example probably archer gonna cost 800 gems or around there, and gladiator 1100 gems or over there, since glad is better than archer.
