I love eating brim, if they are not big enough to filet I will skin them like a catfish.. Also if you batter your squash and spray your cookie pan with none stick cooking spray and baked your squash at 375 degree's till it starts to brown, let it cool completely then place in food saver or freezer bags and freezer, when you take it out to fry it ,will taste fresh picked all winter... Same thing with okra..

I've never used any trout magnets before. I think I'll have to try some of those. I've always used crickets for bream. But shoot looks like then magnets are fantastic little baits. Man I'll tell you what. These graphs we have today are second to none. I bought my 1st graph ever a year and a half augo.93sv uhd.i have the gt54. Thought about getting the box and scope transducer but man to be honest. It's been a long learning curve and allot of non fishing days and allot of studying. But I'll say this i put 100% faith in my graph now I've never used one in my life up until a year and a half augo and this year it's been a game changer. I'm thinking this winter the lvs 32 will be allot more affordable with all the new stuff Garmin is coming out with. Everybody wants that 34 now so I'm gonna get a 32 i think. But back to the basics I'm getting me some of them magnets. Also man I've been catching allot of summertime crappie in deep water over structure using minnows and a slip cork. My graph is really helping me this year. Take care.

I’m not an expert with this type of thing so take this as a grain of salt. I think it has to do with French occupation before 1803… crappie i think came from the French word crapet (with a silent “t” it just became Americanized in the spelling. And I think crapet means sunfish in French?

I used to love going fishing. Never had a boat. I would always fish from the bank or from the bridge. We had a pond. One of the bluegills was bigger than your hand spread out and was 1 1/2 to 2 inches thick. I caught a 21+ inch large mouth Bass. The fillets were an inch thick on both sides. I cleaned it and my husband had 2 meals out of it. Had a lot of fun. I would love to go fishing with you. 🐟🦀🦐🦞
