Hey guys! I know it's November and this video is just now coming out... I've recently had to shift around some priorities in my personal life, and my videos have temporarily taken a back seat. However, I've set a goal for myself to get completely caught up with my uploads by the end of the year, and I'm confident that I'll be able to accomplish it. This video is also the very last one that I recorded in my old house, so from here on out everything will be shot in my new apartment. There's gonna be a lot of exciting videos coming up, so stay tuned!

I've always called it a rhombus cube. There's a version that you can get on Amazon for many years that's much more stretched out than this one and has sharp angles instead of pillowed. I like it a lot better than this one because it looks crazier when you mix it up and it's more difficult to tell where the pieces go. I think it's actually cheaper than this one too.

I have a center rotation problem with the blade cube. It gets so annoying because a center piece is exactly 90 degrees off and I tried descrambling but it just keeps happening. I even though that perhaps it just fell out and a put it back in wrong. So I restored its solved position only to find that after a scramble the same thing kept happening. Very annoying.

I can't afford the puzzle crate so I was wondering how I'd get a ghost pyraninx? It looks like an awesome puzzle

Got the ghost pyraminx and solved it in 30 minutes. Actually a really fun puzzle

I think it really helps to work your way up to these skewb mods. Here's my recommendation for the learning progression: skewb (figure out how to solve a regular skewb)-> twisted skewb (figure out how to orient centers with two colors) -> skewed skewb (figure out how to solve a skewb with non-regular sides) -> golden cube (figure out how to solve a ghosted skewb) -> ghost pyraminx (all of the above plus a shape mod)

I have a tutorial on my channel on how to solve the Ghost Pyraminx. It's solved the same way as a super Skewb. You just have to stay very focused not to lose your perspective.

You can get 90 degree parity (mean turn center 90°) on 3x3x3. Just do sexy move but instead of side of the cube and the top use the middle layer and the top. Edit: never mind, I was wrong. It can help if you have 2 centers nex to each other turned 90°

You cannot get 90° parity on a 3x3 supercube. You can get it on a pseudo supercube (1 center where rotation doesn't matter or 2 edges that appear to be the same)

@@tabris1135 ok. Sorry. Checked on Fisher and you're right. Forgot that if one center has logo and it turns it doesn't mean that other can't turn. But still it's ez way for me to solve such cases

I read somewhere that the skewb is just a mod of the pyraminx so wouldn't the second puzzle be a mod of the pyra?

Skewb and Pyraminx are not the same. If you look at the mechanism, it's pretty clear. So unfortunately you can not solve it like a Pyraminx.

How do you expect to solve something that has no rhyme or reason. Lol every single piece is shaped completely different. It would have to be pure luck. Unless you memorized all the pieces and their place. Which you didn’t do. You just scrambled it and hoped for the best. Hahaha
