An Ivy Cube is a cubic Tetraminx (Pyraminx without tips)

The solve of the Six Spot Cube is actually like an Ivy Cube😂

Yep, the 4 corners cube, and the clover tetrahedron (Lanlan's Star Pyraminx is technically a redesign of the clover tetrahedron) are indeed shape variants of each other.

The second one (four corners cube I think?) reminds me of the insanity cube. That problem with one corner flipped weirdly is something I remember struggling with a lot for the insanity cube. It's probably not exactly the same, but the idea is similar.

The 4 cornered puzzle, what is happening when you have just one group flipped is that one of the center pieces are flipped, to solve this just do the flipping alg but instead of doing it with another set of flipped grouped pieces do it with a center

I think your last twisted pieces in the second puzzle is a parity. Maybe one of the leaf(ish) looking pieces is twisted as well as the obvious pieces. I dont know the best way to explain that. Only reason I say that is because the leaf(ish) pieces are in the same orbit as the twisted corner and the piece its paired with.

What’s your recommendation for lubes to try out? I tried cosmic lubes and I really want to try some cubicle lubes

I really like Dnm-37, I tried the cosmic lubes, but I feel that they don’t last as long as cubicle. Celeritas is great if you can afford it, and mystic works well on Moyu cubes.

In my mind the six spot cube is a shapemod of the ivy cube

on six spot/ivy, you can three-cycle either three petals that touch each other in a triangle, or touch each other in a line \/\ like this

I think that the 6 spot cube has the same mechanism as ivy cube

i think so, because the 6 spot cube is mechanically just an ivy cube, and the pyraminx duo is a shape mod of a ivy cube i believe.

This video being uploaded late (and yes I know why) give off pi energy when he uploaded worlds 2013 a few years late.
