Second this. Very good summary narration, so much potential with the channel. But the click bait titles and thumbnails is a major turn off to bother to subscribe.
If I had a nickel for every time a movie was made about a runner in a Japanese WW2 camp I'd have two nickels. Which isn't a lot but it's weird that it happened twice.

Thanks, I thought I had fallen asleep during the video because I couldn't recall any pisoners in cement, just one in a tub full of shit.
For those who are Interested, Eric Liddell was also one of the main characters in the 1981 film "Chariots of Fire". His faith was such that he wouldn't even compete in races on a Sunday.

Why would you trash talk a dude that did almost saint levels of good?
“His pregnant wife and their two kids” literally one minute late “I guess his wife is even asexually reproducing” I think the director didn’t understand age and time passing.
being covered in cement up your neck is fatal, you would suffocate without being able to expand your chest to breathe

There is no tubs of cement... Wtf
I've seen thousands of movies. Never heard of or have seen this one. Thank you for this video, I actually cried once the little boy was electrocuted. Cant imagine the feelings the real life Erik would have felt or a man who loved his son would have felt. Of course the main character who is a hero dies 😭😭 Thanks for the commentary.

This move appears to be very interesting! Love WW1/WW2 flicks! You must get this a lot, but your channel is very entertaining. I feel like im at a movie theater, with every watch. Specifically, warmth.
KZread should seriously start penalising these fake posters.
Reminds me of another movie, very similar to this. Except the protagonist wasn't an olympic track runner, but instead a boxing champion. But yeah, had the same elements: Prison camp ranking officer wants to box him, so he gives him special treatment and lots of food, which he selflessly shares around to the other inmates, so on so forth.

I remember the movie you are refering to, and also in that movie they put the boxing champion in a tub and fill it with cement. Good movie.
Heads up, no cement tubs for prisoners. Literally just a shitty tub and a straw. It’s your choice to spend 11:57 on this recap about a true POW camp. I did and it’s worth it.
I'm addicted to this channel 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣💯💯💯💯💯
Why are the titles so clickbaity
my grandparents watch movies like these, its pretty good
3:09 you said before that she was pregnant
I just want to appreciate what great work this guy herp de derp derp de derp derp de herp derp
I'm from New Jersey. I'm familiar with people buried in cement. Reputedly.
So many heroes of WW2. I'm glad Eric Liddell got his flowers. Let's hope more heroes are discovered and celebrated.
I can see the jokes coming before I even start to watch the video

Love the human waste joke 8:20
btw, the movie is named "On Wings of Eagles" and not "Wings of Eagles" - not sure how he could get that wrong.
I'm so happy the prisoners weren't hurt when they chiseled them out of the bathtubs.
Excellent video Unfortunately I knew they wouldn’t live 8:19 this part made me laugh
Not sure why you clickbaited, good video though
Thanks for the click bait bud

Am I the only one hearing Cartman’s rap every time he said Eric
Joseph Fiennes looking like a young thin Peter Stormare here
Nice,best so far
Why do you use misleading titles such as This Prison Cements All The Prisoners In A Tub & Can Only Breathe Through Pipe , that not what happened in this film at all ?
too much cement in this video, this is scary
He escapes in shit is killing me 😂😂
Jokes on them, if you get cemented in like that you can't breathe at all because your lungs can't expand.
Always remember, no good deed goes unpunished. Age 65.
Where did the prison cement the prisoners in a tub??????
What happened to the pears?
Mr Waterford is a good guy in this one
This still happens in a town called yabagoma..

Here is an actual quote about Eric Liddell from Mary Previte, who was 11-years-old when Eric died in the concentration camp. She called him 'Jesus in running shoes'. “We children adored him. We called him Uncle Eric and it would be fair to say he was the most admired prisoner in the camp. He wasn't a big deal type and he never sought the spotlight. He was 5ft 9 inches tall with a dimpled chin and a receding hairline. He wore a shirt made from curtains. You would need a wild imagination to picture him winning an Olympic gold medal. I suppose there were clues now and again. Sometimes, he organized running races around the small open space near the camp gate. He would give everyone a big head start, but he always won. We children became his priority. When we had a hockey stick that needed mending, it was Uncle Eric who would truss it up with strips made from his bed sheets and with stinking glue melted down from horses' hooves. It was him who made sure that we did not give up hope. He taught us from the Bible, too. He told us to love our enemies. To Uncle Eric, that meant praying for the Japanese who were our captors. It was unbelievable when he died. A man who was also interned in the camp turned to me and said 'Jesus has been walking among us here and now he is gone'. That was what Eric Liddell was to us... Jesus in running shoes." And here is a quote from David Mitchell, who was a similar age when in the camp with Eric: "Eric Liddell was a name that everybody in the camp soon got to know. Simply because of his Olympic achievements, he was everybody's hero; yet he didn't in any sense rest on his laurels but carried heavy responsibilities and was an outstanding example by his kindness and self-sacrifice. He taught science to the older students, even drawing all the apparatus for chemistry experiments so that the Oxford exams could be taken. He put up a shelf - a valuable item of furniture even if it was only a piece of wood - for a white Russian prostitute in the camp. She said of Eric [when he died] that he was the only man who ever did anything for her without asking for any favors in return. Often we would see him carrying a heavy load for one of the older [or disabled] people or walking the camp paths with a younger person for whom Weihsien imprisonment had brought life to a dead stop. He helped to answer questions and turn the questioning to faith in God and hope that freedom would indeed come someday and with it the chance for education, a profession, marriage, and a normal life. The shock of Eric Liddell's death rocked the camp. One man, who wasn't a Christian, when he heard the news said, 'Yesterday Jesus Christ lived among us; today he is no longer with us.' We missed him. The Roman Catholic sisters in our building mourned his loss too. He had risked his life some months earlier by going into the morgue to visit Sister Reginald and one of our Chefoo girls, Marjory Windsor, who were both isolated, gravely ill with typhoid fever." Eric was just a man, but he dedicated his whole life to emulating Jesus Christ.
POV: your trying to find a comment that says " Let's take a moment to appreciate how much effort he puts into entertaining us "
Can you make a recap video of the movie "In the heart of the machine"
Strength & guidance all I’m wishing for my friends 🎶
Bro, his wife was pregnant while boarding the ship. After a while she gave birth and wrote to him about the news.
Dang David 😤
i would just go visit god i can't
Raised a lot of questions such as why do such bad things happen to such good people.
Rip Eric
Machine men with machine minds
If all the prisoners grabbed the fence with their right hand at the same time it would ground out the power and blow a breaker
His wife was definitely breathing through someone else's pipe 😐
You mean it's like a cementary ?
Yoo Adam where's the cement you promised
Next video please ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
What happens when prisoners do a no. 2?? 😂😂😂
If you have been Watching Mystery recap for a long time hands up 🙋
All the prisoners in that movie are very muscular and strong-looking. It doesn't look like the actors starved...
My whole family is leaving, the Japanese are invading. “Yeah I’m gonna hang out.”
that cement really did a number on them, if you wanna watch that part here is a timestamp...
so the hardened cement doesnt crush them and kill them?
Mystery reccaped keeps me gamin 🫥
The best is when said he escaped in shit
Lol cement? Bruh you would be dead of suffocation within an hour.
Must be a big tub...
But can we appreciate those two Japanese guards who tried to save Xiao from being electrocuted, specially this guy who fought melee with the commander lol 10:39
