This potting mix has been our go to for many plants in containers, it helps reduce water usage.

We water ours once every other day in the morning and the plants seem to love it. Water more if you’re in a dry climate.
You also can go without perlite or vermiculite.
Feeding your plant is essential, make sure to add fertilizer in small amounts every two weeks or larger volume once a month

Excellent. Beautiful presentation with simple, straightforward, doable steps.
Scared that the dirt and perlite is going to fall on my face through the phone😂
Been making the same substrate since over a decade. Best growing medium i have ever had. After harvesting plants, i sift the same substrate and use it as seedling starter mix.

You can reuse it again. Just add some manure/compost or organic soil amendment to fill it up with nutrients again

Your edits are soooooo inspiring. Love love love
Keep up the good work, All of your videos carry some sort of import information for those who want the most yield with the least amount of resources consumed, bless your garden and family. Coco coir and compost for the win I know the perlite makes the soil airy and loose as well, your carrots must love it. Remember perlite acts as a aerator and helps slowly release water, vermiculite acts as a sponge and helps the soil hold moister, so I mix perlite with the soil and sprinkle a bit of vermiculite on top of the soil if I don’t have good quality mulch

I appreciate it! I love how you explained it I'm learning less is more with gardening. Yes, and thank you for sharing the difference betwwen perlite and vermiculite. I do prefer vermiculite for containers that dry up fast. Blessings to you too💚

Coir is very expensive here, I use peat because it is harvested here and I don't pay to ship something from far away.

Where are you from if you dont mind me asking? Peat farming does more damage to nature than it helps.
@wayneessar7489

@@easygrows2699 From Canada. We have an enormous amount of remote peatland that will never be accessed in northern Manitoba especially. In cultivated parts of our farming regions peat is a nuisance as wheat grows best in heavy soil and machines "bog" down in peat. The part that companies like SunGrow and Premeir do is repair and flood the bogs they have harvested. There are laws governing their actions. They hire Canadian workers and pay good wages unlike third world coconut workers. No long ocean voyages in oil fueled ships either, a short train trip gets us our moss and this is important as a big part of peats cost is transportation. So, rather than farmers soaking peat bogs with diesel fuel and burning it, it gets harvested, packaged and used by Canadian gardeners. If you live in a law less country that harvests peat irresponsibly then of course purchase whatever you want but here peatmoss is ethically harvested.

For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. (Romans 6:23 ) Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light. (Matthew 11:28 -30) I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish. (Luke 13:5 ) For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. (Romans 10:13 )
