I'm glad you're OK man! Accidents are sucks, huge shout out to all the guys who helped you and one huge reason I love porsche is how it handles the accidents, it's bulletproof. Where is this, Utah? Matt's Offroad Recovery probably has a youtuber discount and would easily gotten you out!💁‍♀️ I like your channel because it's so different from our low and slow offroad driving with our Landcruiser and Jeep JK. When I saw how this happened, I instantly remembered why we enjoy low and slow. Sorry to see it. These big heavy babies, once you lose your traction this can happen to anyone. I know it feels terrible because it makes you question your driving skill and what you could have done differently. It took 3 trucks many attempts to recover my Touareg one night 😔. Best of luck with repairs.

O man that's a bummer, plus side it looks mostly superficial and you're good. If I saw that on the side of the road I would have expected much worse. Also can't lie hurt to hit the thumbs up button on this one I never feel good about "thumbs up" to a wreck lol, but gotta give it love to help feed the infamous algorithm.

@Harrison -- Holy shit I used to rent a warehouse space right there!!! 23:21 I rented next to these guys that did dinosaur digs and reconstructed dino skeletons. One time they used my warehouse space to build an entire skeleton before shipping it off to some super wealthy fellow in China. The PIG will rise from the ashes badder than ever man! Sorry for the hard experience but that shit makes us stronger. Can't wait to see PIG 2.0

Love to know what the update is on the damage. Will the Pink Pig live on? I am just about to pull the rigger on a silver 2008 Cayenne S with the Air Suspension. Then put on all the Eurowise goodies. Love the channel! Inspirational.

Personally I'd stay away from the air suspension cars as they can create headaches down the line.

Subscribed - just picked up a 955 Turbo and I can't say I'm not intrigued with your videos. Bummer on the liability insurance but hey, you live and learn. Here's a thing about collisions like that - there's always more damage than meets the eye .. wouldn't be surprised if that thing totals out / isn't worth the repair. Fairly certain there's a 955 Turbo being parted out in CO that may have parts you need - reply back if you'd like their info / name.

Oh man sorry to see Harrison! Glad you're ok. Any reason to not be running true winter tires (studless or studded)? Unfortunately that's engine oil under LF, not CV grease. CV grease is thick and pasty and usually gray'ish in color, not liquidy and brownish/blackish(engine oil).

Seems it’s probably from the intercooler piping as the leak stopped and hasn’t grown the puddle since the video was taken! These accumulate some oil in there from blowby or whatever! Won’t know until I dig in though!

@@HarrisonSchoen that's probably it, based on that location, especially if the leak has stopped. It is more oil than I'd expect from the SMIC. Hoping that's all it is!!

If it was a brand new $100,000 Porsche Cayenne in 2005 with this type of damage… It would still be total loss. But I know you’ll fix it.🤙🏽 strange that the airbags didn’t pop makes me wonder if you had srs issues prior.

Honestly, its just not common at all for the cayenne airbags to go off. I'm not even sure where the sensors for them are. The damage doesn't seem too terrible and I'll be able to fix it!

If you had full coverage would it have been different?

First time viewer here, but the first thing I noticed was you holding the camera while driving in snow. I'm not saying you're not a good driver, but perhaps you overestimate your ability or don't take safety seriously enough and that contributed to the crash? Go ahead and flame me. Camera mounts are cheap.

I definitely only pull out the camera when I know it’s safe and don’t give it my full attention! Unfortunately in my opinion the crash was a result of driving too quickly into an icy, unknown turn.
