Mirpur is definitely the UK of Pakistan with around 80% British Pakistanis coming from Mirpur and the surrounding areas. My mum's side of family come from Mirpur and I still have relatives living there. But I have only been to Pakistan once back in 1993 so looks like you have been there more than me - I mean I have travelled to other places more than once like Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Maldives, Philippines, Singapore, Seychelles, Mauritius, Greece, Spain, Italy, Turkey, Morocco, USA, UAE, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and Egypt but surprisingly never been to Scotland, Wales and Ireland even though I am from Nottingham. But I think it is long overdue for me to visit Pakistan again.. And Irn Bru is my favourite fizzy drink too

Love the content Callum, a few the lads that work for me are from Pakistan, they’ve invited me to join them next year, very touching the hospitality shown to you, still makes me chuckle when your walking and you hear the Yorkshire and Birmingham accents from the motors passing by, I’m definitely going to take up the chance to go, the food looks amazing too 🇬🇧 🇵🇰

I keep reading young people commenting on Callums video that they are pleased he is visiting Pakistan etc. Its Azad Kashmir and the younger generation need to be more aware of the history of where we are actually from and the political issues that kashmir has faced and is facing. Kashmiris wants independence from India and Pakistani and the Indian occupied kashmir in particular is a war torn area.

The Mirpur police need to do something about the begging problem in Mirpur. Begging gangs from across Pakistan in particular Punjab are disturbing locals and guests. They should offer them housing and if they refuse they should be forced out. As horrible as that sounds a lot of them are part of begging gangs, offering housing will Sieve out the ones in genuine need.
