I have a serius question for you. Can I send you some photos of a few samples I have recently obtained off an simular builder. In California, I have oxidation and looks very very simular to what you have. I've dipped my samples in first aid grad hydro peroxide. And got strong bubbling 🍾 the samples also turn yellowish when peroxide is applied.

Got a lot of similar rocks. I identified them as Tellurides though. Wish I could share photos. Under the microscope, I could see Gold and various Silvery metals. Source is Southwest Nigeria. Alluvial feeding a Major river.

You ever find any good Rhodium levels in your palladium/platinum finds? Or am I misunderstanding the way that stuff is collected/processed?

Yeah, it's found with platinum/nickel ores, but it's very rare: about 0.2 parts per billion in the crust (silver is 400 times as abundant, gold 5 to 15 depending on source). As such, it will always be a byproduct of mining for platinum group metals or nickel. For an example prospect, dig into the reports of Nickel Creek's Wellgreen/Shäw project.

Yes. A test for rhodium is super expensive. And they only test to 1 gram, then you have to pay more for overlimits. We will probably test to see based on what these results were. It doesn't take much rhodium to make the ore worth pursuing.

Avg Russian (successful) mine palladium ore is 1 gram per ton. Yours read at 4 grams per ton! Holy, holy! @ $2,350/ounce this could be a brilliant find!!!
