Uh oh, some incorrect info regarding the Lancia. The Integrales were decidedly NOT rwd, they were leading edge all-wheel-drive and used it to absolutely dominate rally racing after Group B was cancelled. Also - comparing it to a Ford RS200 is a bit apple v orange as the Ford was one of the over-the-top monsters that crashed, brought about the end of the Grp B series and led to the focus on Group A where Lancia owned the show for 6 years. So Jay’s choice was either all-wheel-drive or…all-wheel-drive.

Correct. I believe Jay was thinking of the 037 which was the last RWD car to win the rally championship.

​@@bryandickerson5365Greatest automotive manufacturer of all time, according to the Top Gear lads. Certainly a contender, hard to think of a factory with a higher strike rate of truly great cars. Especially when you consider how relatively few cars they actually made. In volume and number of individual models. They were always at the edge, sometimes going a bit over that edge. Which is great for the enthusiast, but unfortunately rarely proves to be a sustainable business model.
