I think I actually prefer this one more than Welcome To The Jungle just because of The Rock and Kevin Hart playing old men. Also Cody, if you like Jumanji, might I recommend Zathura: A Space Adventure, it’s basically Jumanji In Space

I loved that Danny Devito played in the sequel, especially because he sounded so much like Phil from Hercules given that it's Danny's natural voice!

Yeah all of these mythical horses are similar but different. Unicorn = Horse with One Horn Pegasus = Horse with Wings Allicorn = Both Horn and Wings Hippocampus = Horse with Fish Parts Sleipnir = Horse with Eight Legs

That lady Eddie (Danny Devito) met at the diner was the aunt of the two kids from the very 1st movie. It was a last minute decision I think meant to be a fun Easter egg.

Love how losing lives was a very crucial piece of the last one, but now they’re practically losing a life left and right, it’s hilarious.

The Next Level is definitely just as awesome as the first one, especially because it shows that Jumanji is more than just a jungle it's an entire world! and i even loved that Danny Devito played in this film the same actor who voiced Phil in Disney's Hercules!!!

It’s cool that these movies allow the actors to play really around w/ who they’re being. It’s fun.

PSA: It's never a good idea to tell someone, particularly someone who seems sad, "These are the best years of your life." Because, to someone who is experiencing clinical depression, that can be devastating to hear. If they're going through a hard time, being told that life will only get worse, could have the opposite effect you intend. Plus, what people define as the best years of their life varies from person to person. Cody was talking about, at 26, being at the end of the best years of his. Well I'd say that about 26-31 were the best years of my life not my late teens/early 20s. Why? Because, as it does for many people, my clinical depression manifested for the first time when I was around 18 and made my early 20s pretty damn rough! My late 20s, however, were good because I had learned to cope with my anxiety and depression, found treatments that worked, and was just in a much better place. Either way, though, saying "these are the best years of your life" is just really rarely a helpful thing to say.

Agree. When he said those were best years of your life then said he was only 26. I was like I’m sorry but you are so wrong. I’m only a few years older but imo I’ve only just hit my stride. I have a career in something I enjoy to look forward to. I’m diagnosed and know better how to manage my depression/adhd/anxiety, partially thanks to taking medication now. Actually I’m looking forward to retirement age in the future. (Not before enjoying the time until then) I have the motivation and a goal to stay active and healthy so I’m still fit when I’m older. Hopefully I will have had a great job and had saved up a bunch of retirement money. I’m picturing myself at 60-70+ just doing whatever I want, going places, just enjoying life.

A Cool fact... about Milo... is that even with... his long pauses... he is the best friend... someone could ever have...

I loved this movie so much, it's actually hard for me to tell if this is better than the previous one 🤔 Still so funny/amazing 😍

First one is a sequel. It has a straight connection to the original with Alan parrish

To me, it's kinda funny when Moose Finbar in this movie names off the other flightless birds, including the penguin, because Danny DeVito was the infamous Penguin in "Batman Returns"

jack black did such an amazing job with his part, i love the rock, i like when thee rock and kevin hart play together in movies. RIP Robin Williams, no one can replace him. his grandpa is the one who played in Matilda. yes Florida does look like that lol i'm from florida and live here lol.

A cool revelation in this film, Jürgen, the bad guy turns out, he's a player and in the next film we will find out who played Jürgen. But as for the actor who played Jürgen, yes he is the Hound from GOT, he was in it because he's a massive fan of WWE and especially The Rock, so to actually have a fight sequence with his idol was something he couldn't turn down.

that actress playing as dannys character did an incredible job, it really felt like him still. I love the accent

Eddie and Milo’s story is truly the moral of Jumanji. Never forget the one who’s been by your side; they might not be there for long. If there’s a next Jumanji film, I wish they would explore the origin of Jumanji. I often created an origin in my mind where a native tribe would be invaded by European colonist. They would happen to see them playing a boardgame so they created Jumanji and the shaman would cast a spell on all who played it would feel the wrath of the jungle. 🎲🎮🥁

I don’t think its as good as the first one but this one was heartwarming and funny learning when you become old and you lost someone who you love and that you wanna get to know more about and Dwayne and Kevin playing as Eddie and Milo was so funny and yeah pretty good movie but I still think the first one is better in my opinion and I’m really sorry you lost a member in your family Cody I know how you feel.

An Alicorn is a horse with a horn and wings. A Unicorn is a horse with a horn. And a Pegasus is a horse with wings. Watch MLP, you’ll learn

2 movies in a row :D nice. It's cool how they added new characters to this and that lil emotional bit at the end. If I was alone, I'd also choose to become a pegasus in a fantasy world 💖

12:50 I think they did. In the 1st Jumanji when Alex was bitten by a Mosquito rather then disappearing he simply fell to the ground. Some could say he returned back to the real world when the lives are used up but when Bethany gabe one of her lives he woke up so I don't think that happened. And I don't see anything else that could happen in such a sceberio.

Omg that intro scared me!

I remember when i first watched this movie in theaters, I cried when Milo was going to be staying and not coming back.

After that end credit scene I really hope we are going to learn more about the history of the Jumanji game. Because they have to fix it now, and there is that element to the game that feels like it is teaching the players something. I wouldn’t be surprised if the history of the game started by getting someone or some people who were in need of a lesson.

30:35 my favorite things are when a super strong character suddenly is outmatched by an EVEN STRONGER character, case being superman vs zods crew and hulk vs Thanos, its so cool seeing those moments go down and this may be my favorite

The orginal jumanji is apart of the story since the board game is in the first movie and at the end of the orginal we do see the game ended up on a beach

This movie was absolutely fun and entertaining that is almost as good as Welcome to the Jungle in its own way. The Jumanji films with this charming cast is amazing and hope for more of that in the next Jumanji film.

I also loved the Jumanji sequel! My favorite part is when Kevin Hart rejects the cake that the old lady gives him near the end of the film!

Have you seen Zathura yet? You should watch that film!

("A Girl Has No Name" did touch on something I should comment on). One of the things I loved about this movie is them bringing back Bebe Neuwirth as "Nora" Shepherd from the first film. - So good! I'd love to see a return of Judy and/or Peter but... you know. But that's one thing I thought you would catch onto when Nora showed up is... like "Wo! That's the aunt!"... "Welcome to the Jungle" and "The Next Level" actually being sequels to the original. But yea I thought first time I watched this one, when they first mention in the movie that the diner's called "Nora's" in my head I was like "Nora! No way! Gotta just be a coincidence... (When she showed up) Yes way!" Fun facts - 1. There is a 40 episode cartoon series set after the first film. And 2. Jimanji 4's in the works and as of right now, original actors "Kirsten Dunst", "Bradley Pierce" and "Bonnie Hunt" are all back to play their respective original characters from number 1; "Judy Shepherd", "Peter Shepherd" and "Sarah 'Madame Serena' Whittle". While still having the rest of the gang from these last couple of course, including Bebe Neuwirth, now that Eddie's going to be working at Nora's.

Just random fact: My fave character in these so far is actually "Nigel" Billingsley, the NPC tour guide. But probably because I'm a big Rhys Darby fan anyway.

So I have a theory. We saw at the end that the bad guy also had a strengths and weaknesses menu just like the players. What if when you lose all your lives and die in the game, you become part of the game and the bad guy was another player who lost and got trapped there.

I love Jumanji

I like the storytelling aspect when Eddie learns his lesson about being too ignorant to move and gets the entire group one-shotted and then the next scene being Milo learning his lesson in standing up to the The Rock's character. They didn't draw out the lesson-learning for too long and kept this movie going a really decent pace throughout. Overall, it's a much better story than the first in my opinion.

That was quick I was expecting about 3-4 days Anyway if you like zombie movies Cody you should definitely check out the Resident Evil franchise (including Welcome to Raccoon City) Awesome reaction btw Edit: If you like Dr. Seuss check out The Lorax (2012) Edit 2: Danny DeVito does the voice of the Lorax

so the rock has confirmed jergon the bad guy is in fact a player character and they are making the next jumanji movie now and if they do what the end of this movie showed we may see jergon as possibly one of the OG kids judy or peter is my guess as jergon the clue he is a player is he has the weaknesses and strengths, also there is theory i kind of believe that nigel isn't an NPC but the creator of the game or something, the way in the first one he corrected the moose mouse thing seemed really non npc like

If you haven't watched the original Jumanji with Robin Williams, I can recommend it, it's a great watch. Also, if you want to see Nigel the NPC in action... try the 10-episode series Our Flag Means Death, where he's a really fun main character. A pirate... of sorts!
