They've definitely got that "I've known you forever" vibe. Maybe because they're brothers. Super fun.
The combination of Bieri brothers ALWAYS results in a hilarious adventure that a guy can learn a thing or two, about a thing or two.
My uncle had the sedan version. He was a southern lawyer. He told me that " if you drive a Chevy or Pontiac you don't look successful, if you drive a Cadillac you look to expensive, thats why I drive an Oldsmobile". He has done very well for himself.

That's the nature of network production. Time is money. A network like Motortrend/Discovery+ has to get max views/per minute to support the profit margin. Think about it, a 22 minute show will have about the same number of viewers ans a 55 minutes show. Just that the viewers will be there longer. That doesn't always equal more sales for the advertisers.

Love wagons. I Like the older Clamshell wagons the best!😊
I was an olds guy to start with. 65 delta 88 with a 330, 66 cutlass 2 door with a 425 and Muncie 4 speed and last was a 68 442 convertible. Loved them all. Then moved to a Ford mustang and been with Ford ever since.

@deweygill1973
11 күн бұрын
@@thechillhacker the 330 was only offered in one 88 model. That was the Jetstar 88 and only in 1964. It was an attempt by Olds to offer a lower price point by equipping an 88 with the F85 drivetrain. Somewhat of a morphodite, besides the 330, you got a version of the 2 speed powerglide, a rear end, steering and suspension parts specific to that car only. I’ve had two, one a bare bones radio delete base, the one I have now is fully loaded with the optional 310 horse 330 available in the 442.
I had one of these in the U.K. but as a Chevrolet Caprice Classic Estate. Loved it.
The Oldsmobile Cutless Cruiser wagon are good rides . My Dad had a 1984 in silver with gray leather interior. Black pin striped. Olds rally wheels . Had a 3.8 auto, with plenty of power truthfully.
Oldsmobiles are the best.
Amazing adventure and the added bonus is having your brother in the mix. No matter where you are.. guaranteed great content always.😎🇺🇸👨🔧🛠️😇👍
That 307 is a great engine. Had one in my 1988 olds Delta Royale two-door. Problem free car and plenty of power
New front grill be good as gold 👍
Like that Riviera you kept walking by!😊
Love station wagons. Was brought up in 5 of them. Fake wood grain stickers and all.
The Bieri brothers ride again!111. Great to see Sean 🎉
Love the old wagons . my parents had a 1979 pontiac catalina safari wagon in the 80's for a while ! I'm canadian by the way. it had the tailgate power window.
My ol lady wants a old wagon like that also
I ❤❤❤ wagons great recovery super great job pops
Thank you,I did not know you cared😊
The 258 inline six is a good start to building a beefy striker 😊
The "Fun to Fixin" ratio can be the biggest factor.
So will this wagon find its way to VGG for further Power Tour updates?
Watching now, thanks!! 👍🏼👍🏼😎
I had an 80 Delta 88 Regency Brougham 4 door. Original diesel but it puked and had a 350 rocket with the diesel trans. It was great, wish i still had it
More more more...hope this continues....👍🤠👌
Man i love those wagons, it needs some lovin. Great find!

I've tried explaining to Derrick before to just use a 2x2 stick of wood pressed to the ear and move it around touching things, he would know instantly if it was alternator or water pump or bottom end or top, etc. Stick it to the valve cover, the exhaust manifold, block oil pan and any spinning parts like a doctor of METAL!
No wonder he's been so busy!!!
I had years of driving of tens of thousands of miles from Butler, Pa. to Pigeon 🐦 Forge, Tennessee and everywhere in between.
I have great memories from the family station wagon. The first time I ever drove a car, was when I sneaked out the station wagon for a cruise around the block.
Had an '83 in frost blue and dark woodgrain. 307 power with 200k already on it but babied it's entire life. It belonged to my Soutmaster. So I went on all sorts of scout trips as a kid in it. Bought it '00 loved that car.
Sharp as the edge of town!
As a kid, my parents had a 78 custom cruiser with the 403.. I remember sitting in the way back seats.. Good times! Lol
The olds 350 rocket would have worked perfectly 🤷🏻♂️
sounds awesome
I have always liked these wagons, great video!

motor trend is lucky to have you. you are keeping the channel going
I kind of figured this job would go smoothly as you partner on this venture was well lubricated.
I picked up an 82 Olds wagon. Found a disassembled 72 olds 350. Rebuilt the engine with a q-jet 4bbl. It ran so good I used to tow with it.
Had an 82 Olds Delta 88 Coupe with the 307 so same car just the 2 door version. It came with 14 wheels but I put on 15s that were taller to raise it up a bit. Improved it for Sasquatchian entry and exit. That 307 was fantastic..
Great episode
Awesome blazer
We had an 87 olds in the family. 6 cylinder, a/c, tape deck. No other options. I still miss that car. This rescue should be a long episode.
'"you could put a full size bed back there" Well, i know a 3/4 box spring and mattress fit. Also grandma's chesterfield (sofa) fits with the tail gate down. Great car for moving a college student!
Had a '82 Buick Electra Estate wagon when I was 16. Was an RV.
I had a Delta 88 that was a 1982 and it was one of the best cars I ever had. Good old four door sedan.
MT.. feature Derrick more.. give him more leeway. we all loveee himmmm
A family vacation is not truly a family vacation without doing so in a station wagon and cruising down Route 66. This Olds station wagon looks sporty too so that's a major plus!
I like how in the beginning he wasnt in character and was talking all normal. Then as soon as the hood came up, it was back to VGG
Short and sweet! But always good content and entertainment!
the same exact engine my 82 Buick had, I changed just about every part in that thing, over 100k miles that teflon/plastic toothed sprocket on the cam will detonate from all the heat cycles.
Warriors have the Splash Brothers. We have the Tech Brothers.
Back in 1985 my first car was an Omega with the 350 Rocket!😂 wish I could find one again. Rarely see one for sale
ABSOLUTLY----> OUTSTANDING!!!!!!!!!!. 🙂
I’ve now owned two custom cruisers they are great wagons
Maybe the headers I gave you at the meet and Greet in PA will work out for you !!! Keep being you man ! 🤘😝🤘
We had a Olds Custom Cruiser wagon when I was a kid. Had the 350/350 combo in it. Used that car for everything. Traded it for a Dodge conversion van. Van had almost 300k on it before it got parked.
I know it was not a powerhouse but the Olds 307 was a dependable, workhorse that would run and run, never let me down. I had few in 81-85 Delta 88’s and Cutlass’s.
