problem with rogue copies is that they usually only improve on what they already found fun about rogue (combat and classes) but don't try to fix any of its pitfalls (bad pve, lack of real content, literally no explanation in-game of what you should be doing/working on, etc)

A tutorial is a must for games And a small red thread to follow is even better as confused people would simply quit playing your game after 2h of wandering and literally doing nothing except dying

I don’t think every game needs a tutorial but these games will literally give you 0 clues on your next step. Like at least let an NPC point you in the right direction or something but nah, nothing.

Starting to think that the "little to no hand holding" thing is just an excuse to not add a tutorial, or ways to find out what you have to do. Maybe if these guys actually add these things, their game will live longer than a week.

you're able to obtain clan spins through an item called "DNA", they're pretty hard to get, but nothing crazy rare, ive had multiple in the past, the clan spins is optional and its there so the owners can make revenue because the game is actually f2p apart from akatsuki

this game is pretty faithful to rogue which is pretty cool. Which also means I'm not playing it. Sick of Rogue lineage "Its hard because when you die you restart everything!!" jumping simulator

when you use the fast travel you gotta fill the bar up a certain amount to travel to the exact location, if you dont then you basically backfire and it tps you somewhere random, if you played rogue a lot you would understand most of the locations/combat/mana bar/progression

to "gate" or use kamui properly you have to charge your mana bar to the right percent

Ive played rouge lineage but this game seems like its ONLY made for people who played rouge. Not beginner friendly at all

Btw, the reason you can't warp to the location you want is because you've been backfiring it. You need to hold g to the right % before u cast warp

I literally tried to get to the tundra 5 with the warp but died to the abyss twice, and when I finally got to the trainer I got one shot comboed by some random dude.

i dont mean this in a bad way but its clear you've never played rogue lineage, ofcourse you're gonna dislike the game, i find it fun because ive played rogue lineage and i understand the comment, you're diving into it with no knowledge on rogue at all

If the game was an actual Naruto game with ninjutsu, kenjutsu, sage art all that stuff from Naruto but you have a chakra bar like how rogue lineage has a mana bar and the progression was different from rogue lineage then I would play but this is literally another rogue copy with Naruto skin. if you want to play a permanent death Naruto game and suffer just play bloodlines.

Nah The game is literally rogue lineage but they race skills are clan skills from naruto, and gate is kamui, and the artifacts are also from naruto. rogue lineage 2.0 where progressed players kill freshies.

i never understand why these rogue copies doesnt change the gui or atleast change how mana looks

Rogue was good with the aspect that you race had little impact with what class you wanted to go for but in this game it’s all race dependent and why in hell did they have to add the manna bar like there is a reason why it’s not in deepwoken

in my opinion the game is fun, the pve is eh, but once you're maxxed out the pvp can be enjoyable and im sure im gonna get backlash comments for this, and thats because rogue combat isnt for everything, the warp names, the combat, the mana, all of these features are familiar to those who play rogue, if you've never played rogue lineage at all, you're gonna hate this game, but i enjoy it edit: if it gives some people a bit more insight to why the game is like this, shinobi lineage was actually a closed community game for quite a while, the game was made and open for those who understood rogue lineage and its mechanics, theres no handholding because it wasnt MADE to be a public game, things may change in the future but it has just released from CC.

let's delete these rogue lineague/deepwoken type games, they are all just a copy of the copy that copies the copy, and they don't even try to hide it or try to improve to the game, and probably the game will die... Deepwoken is leaps and bounds above + it already has a decent tutorial

Progression is trash, combat is unbalanced, and the community is toxic af. It would be a miracle for this game to not die out in a month.

Play deepwoken its these types of games but better

They need to revamp the entire game dawg, it doesn’t even have jutsus. I hate how these games has so much potential but waste it by trying to copy another game.

i guess one day these devs will figure out you cant make an rpg game with pvp as the primary way of playing and expect it to do well, especially if your pvp is some dog. Rogue Lineage survived because of the era it was released in, AND the devs actually tried to put some thought into the combat. Deepwoken survives today, cause it has good pvp and probably the best pve on roblox. If your gonna copy that gameplay style then your gonna have to do alot more than just make rogue lineage and slap a random anime on it. and yes type soul is a terrible game as well, it literally just has flashy pvp.

Making a roblox game in 2024 that's a copy of a game which came out in 2019 must be the laziest thing ever. Like it's fine if they copy the concept but the graphics and "art" style and even the keybinds is crazy. The only twist the naruto adaptation. Like I wouldn't be suprised if they just stole alot of the code from Rogue linage cuz the animations and mechanics are so similar. Having your own ideas is way more apricated than straight up copying someone elses

Ive got a really *big* very *wise* piece of advise for these devs... *dont release the game* either rework everything or just *scrap it* cuz its straight ASSSSSSS. Theres no chakra jumps. You added water walking but *decided to just FORGET WALL RUNNING EXISTED* , their ai is shit, their player hitboxes are absolutely fucked and the balancing (from what i've seen) is awful. Not to mention the BUGS the game has and can we PLEASE not forget *THE ASSS MECHANICS*. -The map is *empty* -The most basic quests take an eon to do -the clans are unbalanced -its a trello tracker game Prolly the worst thing about this is the fact that they thought the game is in a releaseble state. *this shit is playtest worthy at best* Yet another trello tracker game to add to the list.
